Since we’ve made it to Auburn week let’s go ahead and get one thing out of the way. Herschel Walker always has been and will forever be the far superior College football player. Herschel Walker: 5,259 yards / 49 rushing TD’s in 33 games Bo Jackson: 4,303 yards / 43 rushing TD’s in 45 games That’s 956 more yards rushing and 6 more rushing TD’s in 12 less games played. It’s not even close. One literally played an extra season over the other.. Herschel also never lost a SEC game and he was practically the whole team. 33-3 in three years including leading the Dawgs to the 1980 Natty. Bo Jackson led his teams to a 37-12 record. It’s not even remotely close. Everyone knew Herschel was getting the ball every play and still no one could stop it. Greatest College football player to ever play the game. Period.
