It is, indeed, a great honor for both myself and Ethiopia that H.E. Attaullah Tarar, Federal Minister of #Pakistan for Information and Broadcasting, paid a visit to our Embassy in Islamabad today to bid me a heartfelt and warm farewell. This gesture is not just a sign of respect, brotherhood, and fraternity, but a strong demonstration of the growing Pakistan-Ethiopia partnership across diverse areas such as peace and security, climate resilience, aviation, trade, investment, tourism and culture. I am deeply grateful for the Honorable Minister's kind recognition of my services in strengthening our relations, and I am humbled by the title of "True Friend of Pakistan." I am especially honored by the announcement that the National Television of Pakistan will document my diplomatic tenure—a recognition I share with everyone who supported our mission here. Proud Moment for Ethiopia! On behalf of the Ethiopian Government and myself, I warmly congratulate engineer Mr. Wossen Amare Gelaw on achieving this prestigious Guinness World Record. In a historic milestone, Mr. Wossen under Al-Ain Asset Management successfully built and completed “the highest running track on a building” at the Al Ain Tower in Abu Dhabi — a remarkable architectural and engineering masterpiece. This outstanding achievement highlights Ethiopian talent, innovation, and excellence to the world. It also serves as powerful inspiration for Ethiopians everywhere, proving that with hard work and determination, anything is possible. Congratulations, Mr.Wossen! #Ethiopia supported #Somalia to gain its independence Ethiopia is the only Africa who is a founding members of League of Nations and United Nations that protect, defend and advance interests of Black Peoples. Till day, 🇪🇹's commitment to Pan Africanism is unprecedented that deeply rooted in our national values & ethos that helped us maintain our status of independent state. 🇪🇹 also played a leading role in becoming the voice for voiceless Black Peoples. To this end, it prepared draft resolution and submitted to United Nations to ensure #Somalia, #Namibia or other African countries to gain their independence. Indeed, we fought from the front & we will continue to do so for our African brothers to gain their independence and ensure peace and prosperity . Ethiopia's commitment to advance mutual interests with #Somalia unwavered.

I had the profound Honor and joy welcoming H.E. Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed Ali 🇪🇹 on his arrival in the United Arab Emirates for the vital working visit and meet his brother Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the President of UAE. The historic and symbolic visit, made amid the recent regional developments, reaffirms Ethiopia’s unwavering solidarity with the Government and people of the UAE and highlights the depth of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership that continues to strengthen our two nations. Ethiopia is a champion of peace, security & stability in the region & for this matter, we paid massive sacrifices and will continue to do so especially for upholding principles of mutual respect, shared destiny, and interdependence. Prime focus of Ethiopia's foreign policy is to engage with its neighboring countries for economic prosperity of whole region through regional integration initiatives such as GERD & access to sea.

I am pleased to welcome H. E. Dr. Dr. Maen KHREASAT, the Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of #Jordan to the Islamic Republic of #Pakistan, to the Ethiopian Embassy Islamabad. I breifed him on Ethiopia's pivotal role in regional integration and ensuring peace and security in the Horn of Africa. We have also discussed matters of mutual interest including bilateral, regional and multilateral cooperation between our two countries. Excellency, I am looking forward to working with you on achieving shared objectives of sustainable development in the two countries.
