Democrats in Richmond have been in power for almost two weeks, and in that short time, Virginia has already been ravaged by insane legislation coming out of the General Assembly. From tax increases to more government regulations, Virginia is quickly becoming a national embarrassment. Lawmakers from across the country have asked me, “What is happening to the Commonwealth?” Virginians were lied to and elections have consequences!

The Democrats’ gerrymandering scheme in Virginia was defeated by the Virginia Supreme Court last week yet they continue pushing their blatant power grab. Democrat politicians want to fire our Virginia Supreme Court justices and replace them with their “yes” men. Pay attention Virginia…. our Constitution here matters and integrity from our elected leaders matters. It matters to me and I hope you feel the same...!

It's been TWO WEEKS since the inauguration of the new Governor of Virginia. Although her inauguration speech theme was “UNITY”, in these first two weeks the governor and her democrat colleagues in Richmond have done anything BUT 'Unite' Virginia. The progressive socialist agenda coming out of the General Assembly in Richmond has put Virginia in the national news and has Virginians suffering from buyer's remorse after last year’s election. Open your eyes Virginia!!

I joined Newsmax this morning to discuss the latest ploy by Virginia Democrats to lie, cheat, and steal their way into gerrymandering Virginia… They are even considering firing the Supreme Court to get their way. Democrats in Richmond are putting politics over people. Their blatant gerrymandering power grab is just one example of how little they care about your voice. During the Special Session that was held in Richmond last week, they even refused to vote to condemn political violence. Gerrymandering is just the tip of the iceberg of what will happen in the Commonwealth if their power isn’t balanced in this election on Tuesday. Go vote today- it’s the last day of early voting in Virginia….!

Americans voted for overwhelming change in November, and that change is happening now. In recent weeks, illegal crossings at our southern border have dropped by 93%…! The economy remains a top concern, and we are actively working on reducing government spending and streamlining operations. Remember that repairing an economy in shambles handed to us by the Biden administration won't happen overnight….! Yesterday I stood proudly with my fellow U.S. House Republicans from Virginia, and with members of the Virginia General Assembly in the State Capitol. We ALL agree that what the democrats in Richmond are trying to do is WRONG. We will not sit idle as they undermine the constitution of our great Commonwealth. Gerrymandering is wrong and Virginia deserves better.

This is what’s wrong with our politics: Chuck Schumer admits to sending paid activists into Republican districts and using threatening rhetoric to incite violence. He admits he is organizing far left activists to intimidate Republicans in an attempt to make up for his failed leadership… what he forgot is that Americans rejected this type of “leadership” in November….and Virginians are smarter than these despicable tactics….!

A lot happened in Washington this past week: The “Big Beautiful Bill” passed by a single vote! No tax on your tips. No tax on your overtime. No tax on Social Security. Trump Tax Cuts saved. Medicaid reforms that strengthens the program for those it’s intended to help. Billions more for defense & border security. And so much more. Instead of the misinformation in the media, get the facts from someone who was in the room for in the entire process. It’s the honor of a lifetime to represent VA-02 in Congress…!
