There are several versions going around about what was actually going on at the Rohini Sector 27 ABC Centre. Hats off to the compassionate citizens who are staying up day and night to ensure the safety and release of the remaining dogs back to their respective territories. The washroom dog was rescued and is under treatment. Here's a first-hand account of what was witnessed inside the centre on the night of 22/08 until early morning 23/08. This isn't about only one ABC Centre. This is about the entire system across the country. The BJP Congress AAP and all other ruling parties in various states need to fix these butcher shops running in various municipal areas in their states, and the people need to wake up and visit these centres at least twice a week to ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs taken to these centres. This is how one ensures a compassionate, scientific, responsible, legal and morally upright resolution to a problem that seems to have split our country in two. A video update on Chiku, the 16 year old dog that was caught using a wire noose by unauthorised Municipal Corporation of Delhi authorities. She was lucky enough to have her caregiver close by, who rushed to get her out by standing in front of the van and refusing to budge. Several other dogs haven't been that lucky. Caregivers across Delhi are urged to similarly stop these illegal activities.
