It was so hard for her during CUPID era 🥺. 1. Trainee Mimi was proud of her boyish, strong charm, so the super cute debut with CUPID concept was a real struggle. 2. She hated her stage name at first, as it was too feminine and doll-like. A staff member persuaded her to make “Mi Mi” a powerful name with her colors, like that of Yoon Mi Rae. Young Mimi was naive and accepted the challenge. 3. Even offstage, the company picked her clothes, and it was girlish vibes only: no pants, and everything was pink. It was such a suffocating situation that she cried 🥺 4. It took her 7 years, all the way until Real Love in 2022 to finally make peace with the name and pink. Now, she can do whatever she wants with Bish Bash Bosh 🔥

👤: Mimi, aren't you nervous? 🐻: Yes, The script says presenting with excitement, but I'm indeed very nervous. With many sunbaenims sitting in front, I feel even more nervous. 🐻: But also, on my left, our member Arinie is sitting over there. Hi hi~ (+)

During #OHMYGIRL debut era, on one night before filming their MV, Hyojung forced the members to practice the choreo with her for 20 times before being allowed to go back to the dorm, in order not to make any mistake at all! One member shyly came to her and asked, "Unnie, can we just do it 10 times instead", but she rejected. We have had plenty of stories before, but holy smokes Hyojung was indeed an incredibly strict and responsible leader.

Mimi recalls being a misfit in #OHMYGIRL a few years ago, the group filmed a cosmetic CF, but she was left all alone in the waiting room. her skin was originally dark, and she leaned into the boyish vibe. 🐻: but I survived. the one who endures wins! life is all about enduring!

Mimi says she has no clear intention to release a solo album at the moment, since it costs a fortune. Eunyi suggests that she might want to try a groove song-rap style, with catchy melody and powerful dance break. #OHMYGIRL

Hyojung opens up more about not wanting to be a leader again, and which member would suit to be #OHMYGIRL leader 💛 ※ If she was reborn, she'd want to be a maknae, or at least in the maknae line. ※ Being the leader means being the middle person for the group and the company, and it comes with always being neat and organized, which was tiring. ※ Mimi would be a great leader: responsible, has the power to stay true to her own style, and doesn't hold grudges 🐻 ※ Yubin would make another great leader: very organized, neat, and good at mediating between conflict 💜 ※ Seunghee should NOT be a leader, as she is soft-hearted and tends to speak out what she really feels 🐿️ ※ However, all OmGeol members are capable individuals. If they joined other teams, they would all be responsible enough to be cool leaders. ※ In the next life, Hyojung still wants to become an idol again. Even though not as the leader, Hyojung still wants to stay with the girlgroup called Oh My Girl 💖
