This morning around 10am I decided to see how congestion pricing affected local bus Q32 that runs from Jax Hts to city. (At a time I would never imagine taking it w/o CP.) Bus very popular w/seniors who avoid stairs & subway. Verdict: noticeably FASTER traffic toward Manhattan

Express buses to Manhattan now go express thanks to congestion pricing! The time savings is palpable. This is entering midtown tunnel but also city streets are noticeably less clogged as well. #CongestionPricing rules!

I love that on 34AveOpenStreets kids don’t feel the need to rush home to watch TV or play video games. They hang out & socialize with one other. Today we played chess, checkers, parcheesi & jenga. #OpenStreets can transform an ordinary street into a safe & joyful community space.
