Protests are growing in the GTA and will likely spread to other cities. International Students who were duped by immigration consultants, and something Canadian authorities failed to catch on early enough about, are now paying the price after studying and working here. The entire system has always been designed to have Colleges/Unis profit off of International Students and has seldom cared for their well-being. In this day and age why are students even getting paper acceptance letters? It can all be done digitally and College/Uni webpages could easily tell students of their status? Why? It’s because they wanted the system to be made as easy as possible to get student’s fees into the hands of Colleges asap. #StopTheDeportations
