Typical Smoothie King pre-flight experience at the New Orleans airport. No one at the front counter. I walk around to look through the window on the door and see two dudes talking. One of them points at me and then they both move to where I can't see them. I waited for another five minutes before giving up. I'm sure they were probably just increasing shareholder value though so I don't want to jump to conclusions.

Timeline cleanse. Shooting a full auto MP5-10 with FBI SWAT this summer. As you can see in the video, it's way more controllable than you would expect.

A Mosin Nagant… in .500 S&W Magnum. Oh yeah and it takes AR-15 magazines. Loaded hot, it produces the same energy as .338 Win Mag - nearly 4,000 ft. lbs.

OK, I can get behind this. With Magpul and Ruger collaborating on the RXM (very successfully, I might add), Mini-14 mags and furniture should at least be considered. The Mini-14 is an underrated platform and expensive proprietary mags hold it back. Cheap mags and Magpul furniture *could* create positive network effect demand for both. The Mini-14 price is still a tough sell at $1,300-$1,400 MSRP. If they could course correct on that at the same time, I'm just saying there are possibilities here.

FORT 230 Ukrainian SMG at #IWA2025. These people at the booth were looking at me like I was crazy because I was just wearing sunglasses indoors and talking to myself out loud about the gun. Understandable.
