CHARLIE KIRK Why did the ABC downplay one of the most significant political assassinations in recent US history? On 11 September, the ABC’s flagship 7.30 program ignored the assassination of Charlie Kirk, while commercial outlets covered it extensively. Instead, the ABC ran stories on British politics, youth crime, and prosthetics. Fifteen hours had passed. They had time. They even published an online article the same day. But somehow, no mention on prime-time TV. When the ABC did cover Kirk, they branded him a “far-right activist”. This is a loaded label they don’t apply consistently to others, including organisers of radical pro-Palestine protests. Why the double standard? Australians deserve answers. Our national broadcaster must be accurate, impartial, and consistent. That’s its Charter. 📺 Watch my Senate Estimates exchange here 👇

I am tired of the silence. Tired of the excuses. Tired of the political correctness. Tired of vulnerable children being failed while adults protect broken systems and failed ideologies. This speech was not easy to give. But if we cannot speak honestly about the violence, neglect and dysfunction destroying too many lives in remote communities, then nothing will change. Children deserve safety before ideology. Before symbolism. Before politics. My niece was loved. She should still be here. Watch my full Senate speech below 👇

Of all the racist, offensive, inaccurate things that have been said about the No campaign, this is probably the worst. According to the ABC, the No campaign ADVANCE has created AI fake indigenous Australians who are voting no. A complete and utter lie!

🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺 Everyday Australians do not want to see our national flag burned. Yet Labor and the Greens hijacked debate and silenced those who dared to defend it. I stood up in the Senate yesterday to call out their disgraceful behaviour. Watch and decide for yourself:

It's time the federal Liberals courageously abandoned this net zero nonsense.

Australians are sick of being told they should be ashamed of their country. We are a nation built by people from every background who work hard, pay their taxes, and love this place. Enough with the grievance industry. It’s time to restore unity, pride, and respect for the Australia we’ve built together. Watch 👇

🇦🇺 Proud to Stand for All Australians 🇦🇺 In recent days, there has been discussion about my comments on migration. I want to set the record straight. When I raise concerns about Labor’s mass migration agenda, it's about the numbers – not about any community. Indian migrants, who have come to Australia, have a strong record of integration, embracing our values, working hard in many fields of endeavour, and joining the league of cherished and loyal Australian citizens. My own children share Indian ancestry, and I have strong friendships within the Indian and Sikh communities in the Northern Territory. I deeply value these connections. My concern, as it is for millions of Australians, is Labor’s uncontrolled, unplanned, and unsustainable migration. Labor’s mass migration agenda – an issue of numbers – continues to cause pressures on housing, infrastructure and services. I want a better life for all families whether you’re a migrant, a resident, or a citizen, regardless of your background. But a better life for all families, better housing, better infrastructure and better services requires the restoration of controlled, planned, and sustainable migration.

Once again the ABC shows us exactly why Australians are losing trust in their $1.2 billion dollar taxpayer-funded broadcaster. During Senate Estimates yesterday, I asked Managing Director Hugh Marks why the ABC failed to report on the shocking case of a 28-year-old Indigenous man who raped and impregnated a 13-year-old girl promised to him under so-called “customary law.” Commercial outlets covered it. The ABC did not. Why? Is it because the ABC is reluctant to report stories that challenge its narrative? That it might show Indigenous Australians or culture in a less flattering light? That’s what I wanted to find out. Mr Marks denied it but then couldn’t explain why Australians were kept in the dark. Australians deserve truth, not selective reporting. We deserve balance, not bias. And when our national broadcaster receives over $1.2 billion in taxpayer funding, we absolutely deserve transparency. The ABC wants to talk about “reimagining” itself. I’ll tell you what it should start with: honest reporting, free from ideological filters. Only then can Australians truly trust the stories told in their name. 📺 Watch my Senate Estimates exchange here 👇

$75 BILLION – BUT NO ANSWERS In Senate Estimates yesterday I pressed the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water on Labor’s $75 billion climate agenda. Minister Bowen has boasted about this huge taxpayer commitment, but when I asked for a breakdown of what has been spent so far, what will be spent each year, and what remains in different funds, the Department couldn’t give me a straight answer. They confirmed almost half a billion dollars is going out the door this year alone, but beyond that it was “take it on notice”. If Labor can’t explain where $75 billion of taxpayers’ money is going, how can Australians have any confidence in their reckless climate agenda? Watch my full line of questioning here 👇

Our kids deserve to grow up proud of Australia. Today in Senate Estimates, I asked the Department of Education about the mandatory singing of our national anthem in government schools across Australia, following the excellent announcement of the Finocchiaro Government to mandate the singing of Advance Australia Fair in Northern Territory government schools. I also asked about the imbalance in the history curriculum for primary school children, where content clearly favours our Indigenous and migrant history over our colonial history. For example, in the curriculum content for the Humanities and Social Sciences – from Foundation through to Year 6 – “First Nations” is mentioned 71 times and “Diverse” or “Diversity” is mentioned 26 times. Of course, children can’t appreciate Australian history without learning about our Indigenous heritage and migrant character. But “British” is only mentioned 12 times, “European” is only mentioned 6 times, and “colonial” is only mentioned 10 times. British settlement is not taught – or mentioned – throughout the Foundation, Year 1, Year 2, and Year 3 of a child’s education. The First Fleet is not mentioned until Year 4, and yet, in Year 1, children examine “the traditional toys used by First Nations Australian children to play and learn.” It takes until Year 6 for children to be taught about “the impact of British law on the Australian system of law, as well as the origin of values such as freedom of speech, equality before the law and social justice.” How can a curriculum nurture national pride in our children when the content is clearly intended to diminish and demean British colonisation?
