Threats against Council workers are not OK What is fantastic about England is that we welcome diversity. Flying the flag for a sporting event is fine. Flying the flag to intimidate - not so much. These new flags on The Rake leave people feeling confused, scared and intimidated. That’s not OK. It’s also not OK for council workers to be dealing with abuse and threats. Which is what is stopping them taking these flags down. That’s really not OK.

This is the arms factory in Brombrough, Wirral. It’s run and owned by Teledyne - a multinational arms making company that sell weapons like F-35 war planes to Israel. The Green Party policy is that all arms sales to Israel should be stopped. Because they’re being to commit genocide, to breach international law and to kill thousands of innocent men, women and children.

Green MPs will be voting against the two-tier Welfare Bill It’s very shameful the Labour MP for Birkenhead is one of the 10 Labour MPs sponsoring the PIP Bill. Even after the Bill is amended, it’s still taking the PIP. It’s still billions of pounds from the pockets of people like Alicia. Disabled people that need that money to live on. We’re here outside the Kings Gap Hotel in Hoylake to counter some of the hatred that we can see on our streets. Because generally, Wirral and Hoylake are welcoming, very friendly communities. And we’re here to show that actually refugees are welcome here. They’ve travelled so far through so difficult circumstances, the least we can do is offer them a warm welcome.
