All 4 of our PGY 3’s have done complete Bentalls - including the newest ones, with 4 different surgeons. And Type-A’s, ascendings + AVRs, with good patient outcomes. My best case in cardiac as a PGY3 (the highlight of my year) was getting to do one proximal. 🤣 Video adapted from Cardioroot:

Trying and failing not to hover while waiting for an OR as my 7am start got bumped by overnight heart transplant, bilateral robotic lung transplant (#18 here, #28 worldwide) & a type A , so here’s an emergency myxoma from a while back. Resident did all, resection complete on path, patient doing great. Happy NYE to all!!!
