Yesterday, the #Swiftie fanbase learned of a little girl who has brain cancer. This little angel was one of the kids Taylor visited at Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital. The family was struggling to meet the financial burden of caring for their daughter and decided to try to sell the autographed book from Taylor. The Swifties sprang into action! Contacted the family, "bought" the book, learned of and shared a gofundme and the rest is just an amazing testament to the infamous quote from Margaret Mead - “Never underestimate the power of a small group of committed people to change the world. In fact, it is the only thing that ever has.” The gofundme had only raised a little over $2,000 before and now is at over $20,000!!
