“Today, I'm pleased to announce that I will be signing an executive order to reschedule marijuana from a schedule 1 to a schedule 3 controlled substance with legitimate medical uses. We have people begging for me to do this, people that are in great pain. For decades, this action has been requested by American patients suffering from extreme pain, incurable diseases, aggressive cancers, seizure disorders, neurological problems, and more, including numerous veterans with service related injuries and older Americans who live with chronic medical problems and severely degrade their quality of life. I think I probably have received more phone calls on this on doing what we're doing. I don't think think I received any calls on the other side of it, but hopefully this reclassification, which by the way polls at 82%, will help many of those patients live a far better life.” - President Donald J. Trump Donald J. Trump

Hall of Fame bodybuilder and 6x Mr. Olympia Dorian Yates dispelling the lazy cannabis user stereotype on Huberman Lab podcast: “I'm very driven and I'm very disciplined. I'm having this discussion with my friend. ‘Oh, it's not good, and it's only for losers.’ I said, you like to watch American football, don't you? They did a survey with the NFL players and NBA players. How many of them use cannabis on a daily basis? In between 70 and 80 percent. So we're talking about the most elite athletes in the world, highest paid athletes. They wouldn't be doing that if it wasn't benefiting them, and they're saying it's benefiting them. But more to the point, how about the owners of these clubs? If they thought this is having a negative effect on that, they would stamp it out right away, but they don't. So there's no rule that applies to everybody 100%. But cannabis has a very negative image because of over 100 years of propaganda. It was a medicine. You could get it on the shelves in America in 1900. It was for many many things. Queen Victoria, the famous longest queen, she used to use cannabis. So it was used as a medicine for a long time until the pharmaceutical industry came along, and then all of a sudden, they're making movies. There was one called Reefer Madness. This is in people's minds. You know? ‘It's a bad thing. It's a drug.’ It's not. It's a plant medicine, and it grows from the ground like that.”

“They’ve been trying to legalize weed in this country for fucking 50 years and they’ve barely put a dent in it. [Alcohol prohibition] led directly into marijuana prohibition. How about Cartel prohibition? How about fentanyl? There’s a lot tied to this - the Alcohol Lobby doesn’t want marijuana to be legalized so they fight against it and they get politicians that are on their side. There’s a lot of money involved in keeping it illegal.” - Joe Rogan JRE Episode 2351 7/17/25 Mike Tyson Gunther Eagleman™ Alex Bruesewitz 🇺🇸 Bruce LeVell DC_Draino Brady Cobb The Joe Rogan Experience Clips

“In Canada, now you guys have legal marijuana too. Which they should have in America. It's so ridiculous. They just recently decided to make it schedule 3. It's legal in a lot of states, but it's still not legal federally. It's goofy. If alcohol is legal, marijuana is far safer. It should be legal. It's ridiculous. It's also a personal freedom thing. Leave people alone. No one's robbing banks, smoking weed, fucking killing neighbors. It's crazy. It's not heroin. It's not opiates. Maybe you shouldn't do it if you have mental health problems. But there's a lot of people that just take a pot gummy and go to bed and it makes them sleep better. Leave them alone. Leave people alone. Let people have a glass of whiskey. Let people have a glass of wine with dinner. Leave them alone.” JRE 2470 with Pierre Poilievre Joe Rogan Joe Roganhq Mike Tyson Kush Desai

Combat veteran Staff Sergeant (Ret.) Johnny “Joey” Jones blasting the media for reefer madness hypocrisy: “This society is meddling in hypocrisy in a way that makes me furious. I don't smoke weed. I don't drink beer or alcohol. But to be in a place where I can sit and watch alcohol commercials on TV and hear someone preach at me about how bad weed is? No. Take that on somewhere else. On the medicinal side, it absolutely works. It works so well for so many veterans I know. But just like you said, we didn't legalize marijuana. We decriminalized the use of marijuana. So it's unregulated. We're not looking at it and studying it and saying, at what level of THC does it have the effect we're looking for? At what level of THC does it have a negative effect by and large that we should try to take out of our society? That's the problem. We've put so much emphasis on keeping it illegal at the federal level that we've neutered our ability to actually regulate it. In a society, in an industry in this country, where we have no problem with SSRIs, with Zoloft or Prozac or Lexapro, you know, I'm not beating up on these medicines, but for God's sake, I can sit here and watch somebody become a zombie on that stuff. We have no problem discussing how bad marijuana is, but don't attack alcohol because that's a part of our culture. Well, you know what? People get behind the wheel drinking every day and kill people. It happens every single day. And I'd much rather smell weed on the side of the street than liquor on someone's breath trying to talk to me. So I think we can't be hypocrites about it. If we legalize at the federal level the recreational use of marijuana, then we could regulate it. And then we can make sure the THC levels are consistent and below a point that it becomes some of these problems.” -Joey Jones “You know, your argument just speaks to why president Trump made it schedule 3 instead of schedule 1 because it's gonna make it easier to study. Some critics say you should've gone to schedule 2, which is in between because it's not proven medically. But you're making a really good argument for being able to study it more for medicinal use.” -Marc Siegel MD

Sad to see folks who benefit from THC getting confused by reefer madness propaganda. Professor Scott Galloway on Huberman Lab: “I have trouble sleeping. I have trouble winding my brain down, and I take edibles. I do edibles probably twice a week. If I'm amped or think I'm gonna have a tough time sleeping, I'll take a 5 mg edible, the stuff that takes you down. And it's been an enhancement to my life, but I'm reading a lot of stuff about potential psychosis or whatever. It’s been accretive to my life. I really enjoy THC, and I do it packaged so I know where it's come from. I like edibles because I like the dosing of it, but I would argue that THC is something when my mom had stomach cancer, I was living with her. And the only thing that worked for her nausea was marijuana. And I found myself literally on the streets of downtown Las Vegas trying to score marijuana because I was too scared to travel with it. And this was July 2004. And I thought, Jesus Christ, here I am on a street corner in this weird place in Vegas trying to score marijuana for my mom who has stomach cancer. So, you know, I think there's some benefits. THC usage- I enjoy. I think it's been additive to my life.” -Scott Galloway

Joe Rogan on President Trump’s executive order to reschedule cannabis: “It's schedule 3. It’s a great step in the right direction. I'm very happy that the President did that. It really should be regulated the same way alcohol is. It should be for adult use, 21 and older. There’s the alcohol lobby that doesn't want it legal because it cuts down on alcohol sales and I know they lobby to try to make sure those laws stay in place. And then, unfortunately, you have prison guard unions that lobby for it, which is fucked. Right? They wanna keep their job. And so the way they keep their job is to keep people locked up and the way the way they keep people locked up is keep laws that don't make sense. Like That's fucked up. That’s evil. It just doesn't make any sense. It should be a personal choice. No adult should be able to tell you what you can and can't do and be able to lock you up in a fucking cage if you don't listen. That's nuts. And in a free country, in this country as free as it gets in this world, there's no way weed should be illegal. It should be regulated and it should be only for people that are adults. You have to be 21 to be able to buy. If it was legal and regulated, first of all, we'd get taxes from it and that would be huge for every state. You'd get a a ton of tax money that you're not getting right now. And also, you would keep people from getting locked up for their own personal choices, which is just insane.” -Joe Rogan

Joe Rogan on President Trump’s executive order to reclassify cannabis and why cannabis should be legalized: “I think marijuana is far better for you than alcohol. It has legitimate medical uses, legitimate psychological uses. It relieves stress for a lot of people. You can't criminalize something you don't agree with. It's crazy. Also, the LD50 of it is off the fucking charts. Literally, the only way to die from marijuana is it would take about a 50 pound package hitting you in the head from a CIA drug plane. That's how you die. So if you're saying that marijuana should be illegal because it's dangerous. Okay? Dangerous how? When there's so many things- we talked about Tylenol, which I fully support Tylenol being legal. Acetaminophen fucking kills people. About 500 deaths a year. But I think you should be able to take Tylenol. Just don't take enough to fucking kill you. I think that should be the case with alcohol. Same thing. I'm for legalization of alcohol. When you make things illegal, all you do is prop up illegal people to sell those things to people that want it. There is a demand, they will supply it. You’re propping up these illegal cartels and these motherfuckers are killing people and it's ruthless. And it's what happened during prohibition of alcohol in this country. What did it do? It propped up the fucking mafia. They sold alcohol. It propped up organized crime.” Joe Rogan Joe Roganhq

Joe Rogan asking Rand Paul who else aside from U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell was behind motivation for the hemp ban: “There was a little bit of the alcohol lobby and the cannabis lobby. The cannabis people hate the hemp people.” -Rand Paul “The cannabis people hate the hemp people?” - Joe Rogan “Well, it's complicated. The cannabis industry developed state by state, and you really can't make a marijuana product in Colorado and sell it in Kentucky. It can't go across state lines. The hemp, because it was legalized nationally, they were selling it across state lines. You can order [hemp] through the mail across state lines until this law came about. And McConnell always felt it was an unintended consequence [of 2018 Farm Bill], and some of the growth might have been - there were some bad products out there, and all of us, including the Hemp Industry, said, ‘Let's let's regulate this.’ “[The cannabis industry] would probably accept [hemp] if we'd legalize cannabis nationally, and then they would compete with hemp. But what was going on is we haven't legalized cannabis nationally. We've legalized it state by state.” - Rand Paul Here’s a thought - hemp and marijuana are both cannabis. Descheduling the cannabis plant via States 2.0 Act fixes this mess.

Joe Rogan addressing recent news of President Trump considering reclassifying marijuana: “There’s some talk about Trump legalizing marijuana now. Well, it should be. It's so stupid. I can't believe we're still dealing with this. I would have thought by the time I'm 58, we would have figured this out. It would take the place of so many different pharmaceutical drugs, and that's a big part of the problem. They lobby. They work on it hard. They do not want marijuana becoming legalized in the whole nation. The real big problem is who's selling if it's illegal? The CARTEL. As much as 80% of the marijuana in the country in places where it's illegal is coming from these dudes. And they're using all these crazy pesticides that are totally illegal, fucking super toxic shit. If they had it legal, you could have inspectors who could check the fucking, the farms and the factories. It'd be just like alcohol. If alcohol was illegal, we'd be fucked. We'd be drinking moonshine. It's dumb. It empowers the people that are criminals For 13 fucking years, alcohol was illegal in this country. You know how crazy that is, a grown man telling you you can't have a drink? Same thing with a smoke. What's the problem with that? We're just delusional about it. And we put it under the label “drug”, which is alcohol.Alcohol is a drug, dummy. It's a drug. It's just knowing how to use each drug. And the only way you know how to use it is if people are honest. And if they do studies, you have actual scientists who aren't being paid off to come up with some sort of negative or positive result. Dr. Sanjay Gupta discussing medical cannabis with Piers Morgan in 2016: “I think we've been terribly and systematically misled in this country for some time and I did some of that misleading. I didn't listen to the chorus of patients who said, ‘Not only does marijuana work for me, it's the only thing that works for me.’ I took the DEA at their word when they said it's a schedule 1 substance and has no medical applications. There was no scientific basis for them to say that. The science is there. This isn't anecdotal. This isn't in the realm of conjecture anymore. Hall of Fame Bodybuilder and 6 time Mr. Olympia Dorian Yates on how he considers cannabis a health supplement: “Sometimes people get confused, like ‘You’re supposed to be healthy. You're supposed to be an athlete. What are you doing smoking marijuana?’ I consider it a health supplement. Every day, I got 40 tablets here. But guess what? More powerful than all those things together, although they're beneficial, is my cannabis oil I take every day. I got my left knee- the cartilage is nearly gone. The shoulders- the supraspinatus is gone. When I go for a scan, they're like, ‘Do you know your shoulder arthritis is really bad? You must be in a ton of pain.’ Nothing- I don’t have any pain. I consider cannabis to be the most powerful health supplement you can take. People have just had this misinformation for so long, so strong in their brain. It's hard to change. Especially if you don't have any experience with it yourself. Sometimes I like to smoke a little bit before I do cardio because it opens my bronchals and I get a better workout or it's generally in the evening when I'm relaxing or if I wanna do something creative like I'm writing or something. I think the people that smoke marijuana are generally nicer, kinder, more thoughtful people, and realize that in some way, we're all connected- we're not fucking independent. John Nores on why China has taken over the illicit cannabis market in the US and how they partner with the Mexican cartels on fentanyl and money laundering: “China wants to amass as much black market cash that they can launder just to have a bunch of capital to eventually change the dollar standard to the Chinese by 2035. That was kind of the financial model that analysts at the federal level conveyed to me. [Speaking as the Sinaloa cartel] 'China, you supply the precursor chemicals, we're gonna let you have a lot of the weed trade because you want those black market dollars. And then basically, what we're gonna do now is [speaking as China] 'Sinaloa, we're gonna launder your money in embedded businesses that we, the Chinese, have all over America. You guys are gonna stay in Fentanyl. We'll do a little in Fentanyl, but we really need this weed dollar untrackable money. We need this currency.'
