Crazy metrics on 100.4 mph from Jackson Flora yesterday. 21 IVB 0 HB 2670 RPM That sort of cut/ride at that velocity is rare. Reminiscent of Chase Burns in 2024.

Biggest under the radar pitcher in the country is Ole Miss RHP Mason Morris. He is the ONLY arm in the COUNTRY with a K% above 35% and a ground ball rate north of 50% regardless of IP (and he's thrown 36!). Metric darling should go high in July.

UCLA SS Roch Cholowsky is on one hell of a heater. Three homers in the B1G 10 Tournament. 23 bombs on the year. Kid checks all the boxes scouts want to see. Early 1.1 candidate for 2026.

RHP Coleman Borthwick may be considered one of the top high school pitching prospects in the 2026 class, but he can mash too. Hit .303 last summer with one of the best Air PULL% in the country. He smoked his first homer of the year tonight.

TRANSFER: Virginia OF Aiden Harris has hit the portal. Was a prized recruit in the 2024 class. Still just 18 years old. Slashed .400/.500/.500 across limited sample in 2025. Enormous power upside.

Pirates SS/CF prospect Konnor Griffin has already hit a ball north of 114 mph this season. He's coupled that with an in-zone whiff rate of just 16%. Oh yeah, and he's posting 80-grade run times. Freaky ceiling.

Camden Kozeal is coming off a solid year as a freshman for the Hogs where he hit .333 with a .606 slug and peaked with a max exit velocity of 112 mph. A lineup mainstay for Arkansas Baseball, he's getting a bump in tomorrow's Top 200 college draft prospects.

Niagara CC RHP Ryan Birchard is an under-the-radar name making some late noise. Up to 98, sits 93-95, settles in 91-94 into mid-innings. He’ll toe the slab for Brewster on the Cape. Relief profile. Pitch metrics not yet available. Just 19 years old and draft-eligible.

I watched a lot of Colt Emerson in 2021, 2022 and 2023. I can tell you he wasn’t making plays like this. The athleticism and wiggle at shortstop has really trended up over the last twelve months.

TRANSFER: Wichita State SS Kam Durnin has entered the portal. Glove is ahead of the bat right now, but still distancing himself from a 2024 injury. 2026-eligible. Sneaky name to know.

There is currently just ONE hitter in college baseball with an overall whiff rate under 15% and a hard-hit rate north of 60%. That would be Tennessee FRESHMAN Trent Grindlinger. He's draft-eligible in 2027. Potential Top 10 pick.

By no means a power hitter, LSU shortstop Steven Milam homered in every game of the final series of the season v. Florida. Finished the year with 10 homers and more walks than strikeouts. Great glove. Will be a polarizing draft evaluation for teams.

Anthony Pack Jr. is 3 for 3 with 3 dingers and 5 ribs. Not draft-eligible until 2028, at which point he won’t have to wait long to hear his name called. Blown away by how much game power the Horns were immediately able to tap into. Twitchy and strong.

I'm relatively convinced that if JJ Wetherholt hadn't dealt with significant hamstring issues for so much of his 2023 and 2024 seasons, he'd have been the No. 1 pick in the Draft. Bazzana v. Wetherholt was fun banter.

Former Texas A&M and South Carolina catcher Max Kaufer seems to have found his footing at Wichita State. Currently hitting .440 with 11 homers, 11 walks and just 12 K. GB% at just 10 percent. Dominating swings in the zone. Revitalizing draft profile.

Good lord. 112 off the bat from Drew Burress. Ball disappeared. And he hit it off a definitive draft arm.

Florida’s Caden McDonald is, for my money, one of the better hidden gems in the 2026 Draft. Less than 100 collegiate at-bats as a primary pitcher. Getting steady ABs of late. Plus raw bat speed. Sub 4.3s times ht1. Tons of projection on 6-3 frame.

Oregon 1B Naulivou Lauaki Jr. is one of college baseball's most interesting players. Across 30 g, Lauaki has the second-best average EV in the sport. Homers a ton. Didn't draw a walk until his 51st PA. Comes w/a lot of swing and miss. Chris Carter-esque.

Texas A&amp;M infielder Chris Hacopian is currently running a 9% whiff rate with an 8% chase rate. He has swung and missed four times this SEASON. He’s got a 114+ max EV and his OPS is north of 1.200. Silly stuff. He’s the No. 12 Draft prospect at Over-Slot Baseball

Stillwater (Ok.) 3B Ethan Holliday hit two homers today in a preseason scrimmage v. Ponca City. This opposite field rocket was followed by a grand slam to centerfield. They'll officially get going March 1.

Our No. 1 prospect in the 2027 Draft, Texas infielder Adrian Rodriguez unloading the bases. He's also had a productive weekend. The Longhorns look loaded on both sides of the ball.

Going back and reviewing my notes, it appears Southern Miss CF Jake Cook tied the all-time record for the 30-yard dash at the MLB Draft Combine. Jeric Curtis ran a 3.50 in 2022. Cook matched that yesterday. I think he also smoked the all-time broad jump record at 128 inches.

Jorian Wilson blasts are different. 440 feet onto the street, over everything. Will likely become one of the better sluggers in college baseball in due time. Just a freshman.

TRANSFER: Indiana OF Andrew Wiggins has entered the portal. This is potentially a big one. Wiggins has day-one tools and is 2026-draft eligible. .256/.454/.414 with 4 homers and 7 SB in 2025. Needs to get more aggressive in the box. Easy plus bat speed.

Washington State OF Max Hartman is having the strangest year. 0-hit games: 1 1-hit games: 12 2-hit games: 0 3-hit games: 0 4-hit games: 4 Has a hit in 16 of 17 games. Has size and strength projection. .400/.462/.543 so far.
