Shapiro and all of the soft pundits & politicians who were too cowardly to fight during the last two decades of war make a very compelling case for instituting a draft. Imagine how many of these chickenhawks would be advocating for boots on the ground if they or their children could be called upon to do the fighting, bleeding, & dying. Our reckless leaders are shattering the social contract and the trust that are required to maintain an all-volunteer military. I discussed this with Rex Jones earlier this week.

Two years ago today, President Trump was nearly assassinated. By the grace of God, he survived. Yet we still don’t have clear answers about who tried to kill him, or why. What little information the government has released has been misleading, inaccurate, & full of contradictions. We must keep pressing for answers. If an assassination attempt on a former or sitting president can occur with so few answers and zero accountability, that means someone or something far more powerful than the people we elect is operating in the shadows. That means we are no longer truly a sovereign nation. It means the very principles on which our republic was founded—government by consent of the governed—are obsolete. There is no clear-cut military solution, and there is little hope for a diplomatic solution—if there were a viable option for either, I firmly believe that President Trump would just order the military action or sign the deal. The “Trump card” is simple: just walk away, declare victory, and leave. This is not a coward’s retreat; it’s a strategic move to protect our troops and stop this destructive war dead in its tracks. 2025 was great thanks to God, my family & our great nation. I’m grateful for President Donald J. Trump & Tulsi Gabbard 🌺 trusting me with leading the National Counterterrorism Center. Highlights of the year included 2 WA-VA road trips (1 with 6 chickens & 5 cats), Heather packing up our WA house, moving the boys to VA, moving us into our VA house (while homeschooling the boys), senate confirmation, trips to Camp MacKall, Iraq, Syria & lots of other work to secure our nation. I’m very grateful to have amazing teammates at ODNI & NCTC working from the shadows to keep America safe. I’m honored to serve our nation. 2026 is here, let’s get to work!
