Wanted to try making an in-game cutscene in UEFN to tell the story of The Kraken. Since there’s no way to animate in 2D in UEFN, I went old-school and made a few 3D planes with masked materials and cut up the layers in Photoshop. Fortnite Developers #Fortnite #UEFN #FortniteCreative

Added ship collision using Control Rig. The spheres run sphere traces for contact detection, then scale the prop up. Verse reads that scale and uses it to affect speed and turning. Also adding some camera shake and FX. Feels pretty jank, but it kind of works 😅 #UEFN #Fortnite
