We went to check out the dog that was being beat on Skid Row. The abuser said he gave the dog to somebody. I hope the dog is alive. He has other dogs that he is breeding and we were able to rescue this baby. She goes to the vet tomorrow and we are concerned she is pregnant. 💔

We just rescued this six month old puppy from Skid Row. Nobody knows who the owner is and she was completely dehydrated. But she’s also super sweet. I need a home for her by 7 PM after she leaves our vet in Sherman Oaks. Please let me know ASAP if you can foster her.

This is really hard to watch. This is the puppy we saved yesterday from Watts that the amazing rescue group The Labelle Foundation is helping. This puppy is not doing well. Drugs, trauma, disease, inbreeding? They are doing everything they can to help him survive.

All day and night she was tethered up and terrified. We found her when we went to Compton with James Klüg and Julio Rosas. She's now safe with us (last picture). She's safe, not because the city did anything, but because a rescuer (not me) had to risk his life to save her.

These two Belgians were tangled and unable to move. This was one of the times a news reporter came with us to Skid Row. Where was the owner? Passed out on drugs in a tent. These dogs were removed by officials only after the news contacted them.

Los Angeles Animal Shelters have been broken for years. South LA Shelter is one of the worse. They are in lockdown right now becuase the supervisors are not qualified to run a shelter and dogs can't leave their kennels for weeks. Dogs are being murdered one by one now.
