Keaton Wagler on his Summer League debut: “It was definitely super physical… That’s what we’re gonna take into the next game. Just the physicality piece. That’s something I have to be better at. Handling the pressure. But it’s the first game. We’re gonna be fine. I’m gonna be fine.” Said he knows how good of a player he is, and probably needs to be more aggressive.

Darius Garland is excited to face Steph Curry in the Play-In Tournament: “It’s pretty cool going against a top-75 guy like that. A first ballot Hall of Famer. It will be cool just to compete with a guy like that. The skill and the ability that he has, that affected me and the way that I play. It’s super cool to see that on the other end. It’s gonna be fun. Any time you play against top-75 guy like that or a first ballot Hall of Famer or someone that you’re inspired by or looked up to and watched when you’re growing up, it’s always super cool to go against him and go at him a little bit. I think that’s what I did. I feel like I did a good job on him. James Harden said he understands the Clippers felt they weren’t good enough and had to make a decision for their future: “I was informed (a trade) was a possibility and I was like, ‘Oh wow.’ But me and L Frank had conversations about my contract not being guaranteed. Which I understand that part. There’s a part where if we’re not good enough, they gotta make decisions for their team… I think both sides made the right decision. Credit to those guys.
