Darius Garland is excited to face Steph Curry in the Play-In Tournament: “It’s pretty cool going against a top-75 guy like that. A first ballot Hall of Famer. It will be cool just to compete with a guy like that. The skill and the ability that he has, that affected me and the way that I play. It’s super cool to see that on the other end. It’s gonna be fun. Kris Dunn says Keaton Wagler has stood out the most in Clippers training camp. “Me and Keaton built a relationship off being genuine… One thing I learned about Keaton is he processes things very fast. He’s got a very high IQ. He’s been playing really well… He’s been shooting the ball really well, he’s really good in the pick and roll. He’s able to get his teammates involved. And then defensively he’s been holding his own. He made a lot of great plays yesterday and I’ve seen him make great plays in pickup. I understand why they chose Keaton Wagler.”

To me, this was always one of the more revealing public moments of the Kawhi Leonard, Clippers investigation. This was Lawrence Frank’s answer when asked if Uncle Dennis had ever asked for any benefits that weren’t allowed. A year later, Uncle Dennis is banned after the NBA specifically says he pressured the Clippers to violate circumvention rules.

Max Strus on Darius Garland being in a situation where he is maybe the Clippers leader: “No maybes about it. That’s for sure.
