The older you get, the more you realise this wasn't a bad business idea at all. Maybe unhygienic but it was a brilliant business plan.

The real Gothic. No mmdas!. But what happens when "mom and dad" runs out? 😭 Using the actual ashes of "Mom" and "Dad" from ancestral urns as eyeshadow and setting powder is the kind of dark, macabre humor the franchise thrives on. If she hits pan on those urns, does she have to wait for the next generation to pass just to refresh her makeup kit?

I love when protagonists don't take the bait. He kept trying to rile her up, justify himself, control the conversation... She just asked the questions she needed answered and let him expose himself 🤌🏾

After rewatching this scene and listening to Woody, I am left wondering if the deeper meaning is— when kids don't need their parents anymore, and the parents feel left behind or unneeded... Btw, Forky, unexpectedly is such a good listener.

"I like the sound of my own own voice." Honestly, same. 💀 Javier Bardem and Nicole Kidman as monster parents is the dynamic I didn’t know I needed. Totally sat for this!

Dennis finally unlocking his vampire abilities because Bela hurt Winnie is the best scene in Hotel Transylvania 2! And watching Bela go from a terrifying, old-world threat to getting absolutely styled on by a toddler who just unlocked his fangs is everything.

One of the coolest things about Rango is that it wasn't animated the usual way... The cast actually acted out many scenes together on a stage first, using props and costumes so the animators could capture more natural performances. Also, Rango became the first non-Disney/Pixar film to win the Oscar for Best Animated Feature after the category was introduced.

This scene tested everyone's patience. Watching these voice actors do it in real-time feels like a compensation 😂

I love when anthro characters still retain their actual animal behavior. The way they transition between quadrupedal and bipedal movement in GOAT is so seamless—watching Jett switch from a full feline prowl to standing up and gesturing is just incredible animation.

This opening scene of GOAT gave everything it was supposed to. Couldn't get enough of it.

"Listen, we are the last Blue Spix's Macaws left on the planet. We have to stay safe." Just realized Blu wasn't playing around here. His anxiety was legit rooted in real-world stakes...because when the first Rio movie came out, the Spix's Macaw was already incredibly rare, and by the time this sequel scene took place, the species was officially declared extinct in the wild in the real world, surviving only in captivity.

You know the team chemistry is cooked when your teammate wants to eat you with a side of ranch dressing. 😭 The comedy and fluid animation in this scene are top tier. 🐐🔥
