Yesterday morning we arrived in Rome after traveling for 15 hrs from Cape Town via Ethiopia. We arrived quite early and were stuck with our suitcases for a while (they don't travel well over cobble stones🙈) but put host luckily allowed for an much earlier check in. Great guy. Spending most of the day recovering, I did quickly head out to the Mercato Trionfale to pick up some fresh goods for dinner (Frame 1). Good thing we sorted this early, as there was big thunder storm from 16h to 18h the afternoon (Frame 4). It cleared up quickly after that. The city is huge and busy. Scooters everywhere and car drivers are quite aggressive (our taxi was a ride from hell). Heading out today to see the city. Ciao!
