We shipped an improved onboarding experience for Cursor. Making the cold start more approachable and personalized, especially for the less technical, was something I was eager to work on even before I joined.

It's kinda crazy that you can just use multitask design mode to make a bunch of frontend UI changes, then ask for a shared link canvas with a recap of the changes in like 5 min

Bot sharing has been a hit! Here’s a fun little interaction that didn’t make the cut, maybe i'll bring it back someday

Believe it or not, the original Grok Bot started as an exploration of what an ambient computer assistant might look like. I wanted to give an expressive face to a helper that could also use your computer. The character evolved, but that sense of presence stuck around. Looking back, you can already see parts of the eventual app taking shape around it.

Here's a step by step: 1. Open the in-app browser to select, scribble, and describe changes to any component in design mode. 2. Type /multitask or queue changes to run them in parallel — great for touching several unrelated components at once. 3. Get your steps in, grab a coffee, text mom to just say hi.
