Bob Fife: Farm Credit Canada CEO Justine Hendricks should be fired. Our team exposed her lavish taxpayer-funded international travel & luxury dinners and idolizing Fidel Castro while farmers struggled. Credit to Blacklock's Reporter Holly Doan for following this scandal and bringing this to light. Time for accountability at FCC. #cdnag #cdnpoli

Diesel costs are hurting farmers across Canada. A Newfoundland farmer warned: “If diesel gets higher, we all starve.” A Saskatchewan family farm is facing an extra $91,000 in fuel costs. As Alberta farmer Mel says: “Fuel prices are hurting.” Conservatives have a plan: eliminate all tax on gas and diesel so farmers can afford to farm.

Can you believe this? Last year, the Liberal government spent $19 BILLION on consultants. $8 MILLION for gender-just, low-carbon rice in Vietnam $22 MILLION for Beans for Women’s Empowerment in Congo $33 MILLION on a prison farm Now, that same government claims it has no choice but to shut down agricultural research facilities and lay off Canadian scientists and researchers. Billions for consultants. Cuts for Canadian agriculture. Make it make sense.

HEARTBREAKING TESTIMONY💔 With one stroke of a pen, the Liberal government banned seed potato exports from PEI, devastating farm families. Now, the Liberal capital gains tax hike threatens young farmers’ dreams of taking over the family farm. Trudeau is destroying livelihoods

SHOCKING Hidden in the price of your groceries are Liberal food taxes you never see on your receipt. One of these is the food packaging tax, which the government’s own analysis says will cost Canadians $1.3 BILLION by 2032. The plastics ban and front of pack labelling costs the industry $14 billion. Yet the Liberals voted against scrapping these hidden taxes.

The Kielstra farm in Okotoks, paid $180,000 in carbon taxes in 2023 to heat & cool their chicken barns. By 2030, they will pay $480,000 when the carbon tax reaches $170 per tonne. Next week, Canadians will see the carbon tax increase by 23%, making life even more unaffordable.

BREAKING Carney’s Agriculture Minister just admitted he hasn’t met with his counterpart in China, during a time when Canadian farmers are being hit with punishing tariffs. Instead of standing up for our producers, he’s been standing on the sidelines watching. Canadian farmers deserve leadership that fights for them, not bystanders. Watch below 👇

I was shocked to learn that the CEO of Farm Credit Canada billed Canadian taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars in travel expenses To put that into perspective, that's more than double what three Agriculture Ministers expensed over the same period. I asked the CEO’s boss whether he was aware of this. Watch below.👇

Today across the country we celebrate #CdnAgDay! 🇨🇦🚜🌾 To the farmers, ranchers, producers, agri-food workers and farm families who feed our nation every single day—thank you. What makes this sector so remarkable is the spirit behind it. Resilience, innovation, and pride in a job well done. Even in the face of challenges, Canada’s agriculture sector continues to lead, adapt, and deliver.
