Here's a look at the third of #LSU's three early enrollees from the talented 2025 recruiting class. The Tigers pulled 4-star Edge Damien Shanklin out of Indiana. Shanklin starts out with #47 but he hopes to get #4 if it becomes available or he'll settle for #14.

A guy that's impressed me the past few days at #LSU Fall Camp is #97 Dylan Carpenter. The St. Amant product has a high motor and competed well in the one-on-one's. Carpenter is 6-4, 258 and part of the young core of talent in the Tigers defensive end room.

Noticed that Jay Johnson sat down and had an extended chat with Jared Jones at #LSU practice today. As mentioned earlier, Jones stayed after practice and worked privately with Coach Johnson as well.

"Before I came to #LSU the whole design was lead the country in walks and doubles" Tennessee leads the SEC in home runs (49) with nearly double the amount LSU has registered (25). But the Tigers are currently tied for the SEC lead in doubles (43) and are fourth in walks (117).
