As the President of Digi Facts, I wish to bring the public’s attention to a post currently circulating that attributes information to H.E. Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu and claims that he published tweets on 17 September 2026. Following a review of the available information on his official X account, we have found no posts published by the account on the date in question that support the claim being circulated. We therefore urge members of the public to exercise caution before accepting or sharing this information as factual. Content attributed to public figures should always be verified against their official and authenticated communication channels before it is shared further. Digi Facts calls upon the public to verify before amplifying. In an environment where misinformation can spread rapidly, checking the original source, date, account and context of a claim is an important step in protecting the integrity of public information. Based on the evidence available to us from the official X account, we advise the public to disregard the claim that H.E. Robert Kyagulanyi published the alleged tweets on 17 September 2026.
