A police chase in downtown Santa Barbara Saturday ended with the arrest of an evading young e-motorcycle rider who was caught and handcuffed. He was taken in for multiple violations. The bike was impounded. Outside agencies were assisting SB Police during Fiesta weekend.

Tides forecasted to 7.4 feet came up on Santa Barbara's East Beach Tuesday night and combined with an elevated surf, the world famous volleyball court area was soaked. Several locations nearby had minor tidal overflow and waves were coming up well beyond the normal areas.
