I'm building an app to make $10,000/Month and I'll record everything... I want to document my WHOLE journey building an app, marketing it, and making money off of it. Is it really that easy? How hard is it? I've been seeing so many X users online talking about how easy it is to make money online with AI now. I want to test it and show people the reality of making a business online.

I launched a new app called LockFeed. Let's see how much revenue I can get to if I leverage my whole 2.3M subscribers on YouTube. LockFeed helps you reduce your screen time by quizzing you on something you care about before you scroll. Like for me, it's the guitar fretboard. This is Episode 4 of 10K or Bust. In this video I pivoted from my AI portrait making app to this more simple screen time app. What I've learned: - Meta Ads Manager is so cumbersome to use. Just ask Codex with Computer Use to do it for you. - You can look at your competitors Meta ads they're running, so you can just copy it. Higgsfield SuperComputer, who sponsored this video, taught me that. - These super simple apps charge $50/year or more, which is why they can afford to spend so much on ads. A lot of them should just be replaced by cheaper alternatives. Like Opal charges $239/year??? - I got rejected 5 times from the App Store, and I thought it was because of my predatory app design. But it's actually just because I didn't check a box for the Family Controls certificate... And App Store review is so ambiguous they wouldn't tell me. Download LockFeed:

Episode 3: When you have no idea what you're doing with UGC Creators, this is what happens... I hired a UGC creator, which was surprisingly cheap. $30 per video. But they wanted bonuses. I don't want to give bonuses though. I made $0 on my app so far. She went on the make a few videos on Instagram and a few of them for 2000 views. I still got 0 sales though. I probably need to pivot my app.

I'm actually garbage at using AI for videos. But people still loved "Founder Mode" AI Music Video because it was meaningful and there was some thought put into it. I've seen a lot of amazing/cool looking AI videos that get praised but never leave the tech twitter bubble because the video is soulless and boring. This is the equivalent of a high production quality short film, but empty/generic with no real unique voice. To all AI artists + technologists: If you teach me AI Video techniques, I'll teach you storytelling in exchange. That way, we can have more meaningful content in the world and lower the barrier of entry for video making. DM me your work or post it here for everyone to see.
