A message of solidarity from Lebanese 🇱🇧 singer Carine Bassili to Israel 🇮🇱 and the Jewish people, singing “October Rain” in Arabic. Worth listening and sharing This is the first time a song in Arabic has been dedicated to Israel as a gift of solidarity. Bassili decided to translate the song into Arabic following the October 7th massacre against Israel, honoring the 1,200 Israelis who were slaughtered by Hamas and the 101 Israeli children, women, men, and elderly still in captivity in Gaza by Hamas. Joining this message of solidarity with pure love are vibrant and vocal non-Jewish speakers from across the Middle East, such as: Brigitte Gabriel 🇱🇧 Luai Ahmed 🇾🇪 Rawan Osman روان عثمان 🇱🇧🇸🇾 Maryam Younnes/ 𐤌𐤀𐤓𐤉𐤀𐤌 🇱🇧 Loay Alshareef لؤي الشريف 🇦🇪 Fatema El Harbi 🇧🇭 And myself Along with many others who couldn’t publish their names for security reasons. את הכתבה הזאת אתם חייבים לראות! אני לא צוחק או עובד על אף אחד כשאני אומר שיש שינויים בשיח בלבנון על ישראל ועכשיו זה מגיע גם לתיקון היסטורי של המצב שהתקבע לאורך שנים, מצב המלחמה בין לבנון לישראל. בלבנון כבר לא מקבלים את המצב כמו שהוא, התחיל עידן השאלות הקשות שאיתם גם מגיעים תשובות חד משמעיות. במהדורה אתמול בלבנון בערוץ החדשות המוביל MTV עשו כתבה בכותרת: ״מה אנחנו לא יודעים היסטורית על היחסים בין לבנון לישראל? בין מצב מלחמה תמידי לבין המצב בשטח שמסבך יותר את הדברים, היסטוריית היחסים בין לבנון לישראל חושפת מצב אחר לגמרי ממה שהוצג״ בהרצאות שלי אני אומר לא פעם כי הייתה מלחמה אחת באמת בין לבנון לישראל וזה היה ב1948. רבים מרימים גבה עד שמסתכלים היסטורית באמת על המצב בשטח.

Exactly 26 years ago today, the Israeli army withdrew from South Lebanon. The Jewish community stood by every oppressed community in the world for decades, they were the only one that stood by the lebanese people while we were slaughtered by Palestinian terrorists in the 70’s. Yet after October 7th all these communities abandoned the Jewish people. Now is the time to fix that! What an incredible panel we had at the IAC summit in Florida.
