People will call me a homer - ok, I'm used to it. I'm usually positive about most of our starting QB's. But, this is one reason I still believe in Brock Purdy. After throwing 3 picks, he made this throw to set the team up for a FG before the half. Fantastic eye manipulation to keep his head down the middle of the field through his wind-up and hits Kittle in the void on a sail concept.

You could really see how much the wind was affecting throws on JJ's TD pass. Incredible catch by Christian McCaffrey Adjusting to this wind movement over the shoulder is wicked good.

Just for everyone who says, "Purdy doesn't make the layered throw" on the INT. Here he was in the 2nd qtr

Y'all know I don't post things just to start drama but things like this are frustrations and miscues you're seeing with the offense this year. I didn't see this on the broadcast but after a screen to Kittle, there's something off about what Deebo did. Kyle is up around the 40 to the right so Deebo is talking to someone else on the sideline, who's getting after him. I went back to the broadcast and this was Kyle's reaction right after this happened. Lip readers, what's Kyle saying? Pretty sure there's a word that starts with F in there.

Kris Kocurek appreciation post. Watch the identical footwork and hand execution on a line slant by Elliot, Collins and Mykel Williams. This isn't by accident. This is taught.

What happened on Brock Purdy's pick? The throw was there. The protection was not.

An absolutely incredible throw by Brock the play after Kittle went down. It doesn't look like some other guys off-schedule, but this is a throw very few guys can make.

Worst possible moment for Colton McKivitz to whiff a block and CMC to not get enough of the same guy.... We're running a PA Sail and Seattle busts the coverage on Skyy Moore deep down the sideline. Could've been a TD instead of turnover on downs.

Dee Winters remembered "Orlando" a spacing concept run earlier for a pick-six. Here's how it went down.

Far hash corner route from a dirty pocket in high winds. Bill Walsh used to say that arm strength was important up to a benchmark to make all the throws. After that, it's a bonus and becomes much less important than many other traits of playing the position.

Missed assignments and can't run the ball vs 2-high. Recipe for bad offense.

How do you have a gap completely unaccounted for by wrong alignment in week 18? Poor effort, poor assignment responsibility.
