BREAKING NEWS: 1 dead in St. Peter the Apostle Church ash Wednesday tragedy in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan, SJDM Mayor Art Robes says. 80-year old Luneta Morales did not survive injuries she sustained when the second floor of the church collapsed this morning during an Ash Wednesday service, according to the Mayor. 52 others were injured. Witnesses say that the second floor collapsed under the weight of mass goers who lined up to have their foreheads marked with ash. Parish priest Romulo Perez says the second floor was observed to have been infested by termites. Masses have been suspended until further notice according to the local government.
