What do Reform actually believe in? They promised to cut council tax, but where they run councils from Kent to Durham they've increased it. Their shadow team is arguing amongst themselves on social media about their immigration policy. Their policy on cryptocurrency has been brought and paid for by the industry, including the £5M undeclared gift to Nigel Farage. Their policies are a mess and unravel with the lightest of scrutiny.

I'm glad the Greens’ policies and leadership have been getting more scrutiny in recent days. From Zack Polanski patronising hard-working social care workers who this Government are supporting with a first-ever Fair Pay Agreement, to waffling about NATO reform at a time when Putin is trying to weaken the alliance, and blocking the clean and green energy infrastructure we need to get to Net Zero - the Greens are sadly not supporting progressive policies, it's just populism for the sake of it.

By recusing himself from giving the Conservative Party legal advice on Ukraine and Russia, Lord Wolfson has confirmed that it is not possible in his view to do this while being paid to represent Roman Abramovich and that given the choice, being paid to represent Abramovich is more important to him. He could have made the opposite choice, and he did not.

The UN is now warning that 14,000 babies in Gaza face starvation in the next 48 hours. The situation could not be more serious. I welcome the Government suspending trade talks with Israel and imposing tougher sanctions today — but as we've done on other countries, including Russia, I believe those sanctions must extend to the political decision-makers advocating for ethnic cleansing and the takeover of Gaza.
