Hey everyone guess what…I wrote a new song with two of my favorite writers and pals Benj Pasek & Justin Paul. When we started writing I was talking a lot about how my incredible partner (hi Natalie ❤️) and I always say in times we can’t control-of which there are many- “we have to be the constant”. I feel like this sentiment is so true in so many relationships, friendships and families. When the bigger picture seems it’s most unfocused, we pull toward those we love most for guidance and centering. I’m so proud of this song and can’t wait to sing it live for you one day. In the meantime The Constant, produced by the brilliant Dan Romer is out and streaming NOW. Look out for another fun announcement tomorrow. Last year I had the honor of performing the national anthem for opening day at Dodger Stadium and felt so privileged to be there at the beginning of what was to become a historic season. This year they asked me back, and it was a thrill to sing on the field again between my heroes. Thanks Los Angeles Dodgers for having me and for making me feel so welcomed. Big props to the great Dieter Ruehle on the organ, THE VOICE Todd Leitz, and to our U.S. Air Force jets hitting the afterburners right on cue. I love baseball. Let’s go Blue. 💙
