It was 22 years ago today I first heard of Tucker Carlson. I knew nothing about him, I just knew I hated Jon Stewart and thought “who is this clown in a bow tie making Jon Stewart look good?” The next time I saw him was 2016, Trump had won, and Tucker had his own show on Fox. My mom would watch his show religiously and I would say “isn’t this the bow tie guy? You can’t be serious.” She told me that he was better now and loved Trump. I started watching with her consistently and looked forward to every show. From then til COVID Tucker was really my only source of political news. The only guy I felt I could trust. As the world shut down and we all greatly expanded our internet news sources, I was more diversified, but Tucker was always the one I felt holding it down on the mainstream. After Trump was out of office it felt like Tucker clearly fell off. And once he was off Fox and on his own the nose dive became unavoidable. Blake Neff was Tucker’s head writer from 2017-2020.

No it’s actually much worse than that. The Lachman Fire he set was tended to on Jan 2, days before the Palisades Fire broke out. Firefighters in the scene warned of smoldering and embers but Karen Bass’ battalion chief ordered them to pull out. Then Karen Bass leaves for Ghana on Jan 4. The fire continued to burn underground because it wasn’t fully extinguished and then on Jan 7 it was reignited by Santa Ana winds. Karen Bass’ LAFD then had the after action report manipulated to “prepare and protect Mayor Bass, the City, and the LAFD from reputational harm” The Palisades Fire was left wing terrorism. Karen Bass is the terrorist.
