Today was a terrorist attack, on Yom Kippur, one of the holiest days for Jewish people. When my family came to this country fleeing murder and violence in Europe, they were welcomed - by Manchester, the North of England, and Britain. They fought and died for this country. Tonight, the Jewish community in Manchester feels frightened, and so deeply sad. All of us are hugging our children that little bit closer. But we are also unbowed. Terrorists will never break our spirit. I love this country. It’s mine. I love my flag, my town, and my neighbours. Nobody will ever change that.
