the conversation between mark and his mom in mom’s interlude 🥹 👩: the melody was nice, it was fascinating. i played that melody for you, remember? that one. 🐯: when you first heard that i wanted to include something faith-related in my album, how did you feel mom? 👩: i was thankful, thinking i don’t have to worry about you anymore. 🐯: really? 👩: it felt like a reset? like “ah he’s made his decision now” i realized there’s nothing to worry about anymore and i just have to care about your health. thats all i thought about. 🐯: it definitely changed something in me. 👩: it feels like your identity has been clearly defined and just like the title, after these 8 years, i feel like this is the firstfruit. 👩: the fact that you chose that title with that kind of heart made me go “ah that’s exactly it.” 👩: what did you have for lunch today?
