Natural fly control from our summer visitors. We’ve had more swallow nests in the buildings than I have ever seen at Strickley, 9 nests, all had 2 broods fledge with some managing a third. There’s no shortage of food for them on an organic dairy farm. I love seeing them fly 💚

I need your help! Upland/marginal farms are being closed out of Higher Tier schemes, there's an 80% drop in the number of agreements being approved I've started a petition for farmers like me who are fed up with being left behind Please sign & retweet!

It’s been a while… Here’s what we’re up to at the moment. Replacing a section of old stone drainage, the top end is still functioning perfectly, and it’s probably 200+ years old. Oh, and the sun is shining and there’s a whiff of spring in the air 😊 Happy days
