Half a glance, that’s all it took. No adaptation or integration needed. Just pure hoops. Cherki, you genius. Haaland is gonna eat.

Here are all of João Félix’s actions in the match where the whole world found out that he should “pass the ball, you’re not Messi” Our sport has become all about viral moments, optics, agendas.

I watched 5 Ipswich games focussing on Delap only; he’s the closest thing to Didier Drogba that I’ve seen in modern football. Here are some non goal scoring actions. Some player 😮‍💨

Nicolas Jackson has MASSIVE, GLARING issues with his technique when striking a ball. — balance — foot placement — follow through — point of contact Issues prevalent on his strong foot but at an amateur level on his weaker foot. 18 year old Guiu has 10x the fundamentals.

Palmer has felt above his teammates for a long time. Jackson is typically the guy who compromises & doesn’t pipe up to Cole. Jackson knows where he falls in the food chain. It’s sad, really. I made this video a year ago, Palmer is the same.

Rayan Cherki vs Manchester United You learn so much about a player when they don’t have things all their way. Despite this, Rayan generates football ✨

Watching “elite” clubs employing “world class” players. Meanwhile, on a bad day, Cherki finds solutions every where, in any orientation, from any angle. This isn’t normal.

Robert Sánchez — Distribution 24/25 The most lied about footballer in the Premier League. The propaganda against Sánchez will have you believe that this man cannot pass the ball, has awful distribution, can’t play with his feet etc. It is blatant, cynical, defamatory lies. He makes errors just like everyone else, but when he’s good, he almost never gets his flowers — PSG being the first time, ever. Even then, it wasn’t for his distribution — they called his passes “hoofs” or “just going long”. The propaganda is so strong that the match-going “fans” of the football club thought they had the right to tell him what to do with the ball at his feet because he’s so bad with his feet. Terrifying.

Get João Félix the ball in these situations 10 times per game and you’ll see our attack blossom (against low blocks). Arguably our best pocket player and instead.. Enzo Fernández is shoehorned into this role.

Over the last 6 months, I was lucky enough to coach OIR FC, a North London club on the brink of semi-professional football. I am proud to showcase some of the patterns that we worked on week in, week out, culminating in winning the Somali British Champions League
