If you’re going to tell the story, tell the ENTIRE story. For twenty years, Jordan occupied Judea & Samaria and Egypt controlled Gaza. In that time, Jews were expelled yet again. Yet, no Palestinian state was created. No independence was declared. No institutions of sovereignty were built. Why not? If the cause was truly “Palestinian freedom,” why wasn’t it pursued when a large portion of the land was already under Arab occupation? The answer is as uncomfortable as it is undeniable: the struggle was never about creating another Arab state. It was—and still is—about erasing the ONLY non-Arab state in the region. That same harmful strain of pan-Arabism has long betrayed other minorities too—whether it be the Druze, Kurds, or others whose voices are drowned out by the illogical obsession with Israel’s destruction.

Tens of thousands of Egyptians, Syrians, and other neighboring peoples poured into Israel during the British rule—why? Because Jewish returnees created a thriving economy. Yet, this history is almost NEVER acknowledged. Instead, the focus is placed almost exclusively on the post-Holocaust wave of Jewish return. Here, I break this down in the most concise way I can. ⬇️⬇️⬇️

“Palestine” was a colonial label used by Europeans—which was then weaponized in the 1960s when the Soviets rebranded it as a nationalist cause. 🫠 But today, Palestinians are a real political identity. They endure real suffering—trapped in a failed political project, betrayed by corrupt and abusive leadership. May we see a Middle East where Jews and Arabs thrive together, b”h.

People loveeeee to shout about Israel trading with Azerbaijan. But let’s be real—there’s a huge double standard here. 🇮🇱 Israel imports Azerbaijani oil because it has almost no domestic supply. In fact, crude petroleum makes up nearly the entire $1.4B trade from Baku to Tel Aviv. That’s not “preference”—that’s survival. Meanwhile, the U.S. poured $164M into Azerbaijan’s security sector, and the EU buys billions in Azerbaijani gas every year to keep its lights on (especially Italy). Funny how no one raises a moral crusade over that. 🙃 So why is Israel singled out? Because when it comes to Israel, people apply a different rulebook. Trade that’s “normal geopolitics” for everyone else suddenly becomes a scandal when Jews are involved (typical). I’m not saying it’s my favorite reality—but let’s at least drop the hypocrisy.
