The Symphony of the Night community has solved the spike room. There are now consistent setups to get through here with ONLY Leap Stone, or ONLY Wolf + Gravity Boots. Thanks to DerDrach for helping me learn these tricks, we WILL see this in randomizer tournaments going forward!
