My own lieutenants are the ones who keep suing and battling with me in court. This video has exposed all of them, one by one: Aziz; he represents the Plaintiff in the Wesley Girls case. Osagyefo Oliver Barker-Vormawor represents the Plaintiff in the US Reception cases. He’s also an amicus in the Wesley Girls case. Then, Noah, in the Bail Condition case. When I drew their attention to it, they were, each, shy. God is watching all of you. Well, but they assist me to think through the ORAL cases. Earlier in the week, I took the contractors and consultants on the GETFund-funded Aveme STEM Senior High School project to site. At a brief ceremony, the chiefs of the Aveme Paramountcy, our illustrious DCE, Mr Ernest Adevor, together with the representatives of the three families who offered their vast tract of land for the project received us. I conveyed the warm compliments and assurances of my boss President Mahama 🫡, the Minister of Education, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, and my brother and Administrator of GETFund, Mr Paul Adjei, to my chiefs and my people. In return, my chiefs poured libations, calling on God and our ancestors to bless and keep the President and all the persons who have made Aveme the host of the first STEM school in the Volta Region. On day one of the Global Fraud Summit, we - the Ghana delegation - stressed the point that we will not support an international arrangement on global fraud which establishes a one-way traffic of extraditing cybercrime suspects to Western countries. We will, however, support and be part of an arrangement which has a corresponding mechanism for quicker extradition, surrender of political corruption suspects or recovery of loots back to Africa. The Summit is under the auspices of the UN Office on Drugs and Crimes and INTERPOL. It is to explore the establishment of a global legal framework for fighting cross border fraud.

On behalf of my boss, the Honourable Attorney-General, Dr Dominic Ayine, I administered the oath of office and the oath of secrecy to the distinguished members of the governing boards of the Legal Aid Commission and the Council for Law Reporting. His Lordship, Mr Justice Gabriel Pwamang, JSC, administered the same oaths to us, members of the Advisory Board of the Ministry of Justice. In my remarks, I stressed on new ways of funding and accessibility. More specifically, I challenged the Legal Aid Commission to not only wait to be approached, but to also be proactive to identify and approach persons who need (but could not request for) their services. They’re to extend their services beyond criminal cases to cover civil cases, too. I charged the Council for Law Reporting to explore and invest in digital version of our law reports.
