Fran Drescher was the SAG President during the 2023 negotiations wherein explicit permission was given to the studios and streamers to use human-looking AI objects instead of SAG members. SAG actors should demand that Fran Drescher and SAG-AFTRA NED Duncan Crabtree-Ireland explain to the membership exactly why they gave that away. It would be like the Teamsters giving employers permission to use self-driving trucks.

My new avant-garde film, FEEL, can now be seen. "FEEL was borne of a single instruction: Film people sitting in a chair for 30 minutes. At the end, answer one question: "What have you been thinking about mostly lately?" Filmmaker Justine Bateman produced, directed, shot, edited, and music supervised the film on her own. Here is one of the best film trailers ever made. It’s for Albert Brooks’ REAL LIFE (1979). There are no clips of the film, there is no summary of the entire plot. However, the trailer gives you the absolute flavor of the film. And if you like that flavor, you will love that excellent film.
