Fran Drescher was the SAG President during the 2023 negotiations wherein explicit permission was given to the studios and streamers to use human-looking AI objects instead of SAG members. SAG actors should demand that Fran Drescher and SAG-AFTRA NED Duncan Crabtree-Ireland explain to the membership exactly why they gave that away. It would be like the Teamsters giving employers permission to use self-driving trucks.

My new avant-garde film, FEEL, can now be seen. "FEEL was borne of a single instruction: Film people sitting in a chair for 30 minutes. At the end, answer one question: "What have you been thinking about mostly lately?" Filmmaker Justine Bateman produced, directed, shot, edited, and music supervised the film on her own.
