The fame whore Congressman Toby Tiangco and the Navotas City flood I watched the press conference of Toby Tiangco before the typhoon hit the Philippines. He was asked if Navotas was ready — you can sense the fear as he switched his tone and just like clockwork, he started saying that flood control projects should be assessed within 5-10 years as most have “phases”. He knew that the incoming typhoon would tell the whole country that his district is also problematic. Why are his excuses acceptable and the others’ are not? Please don’t make me laugh. He’s too busy advocating for the narrative of those who are against the administration, he forgot to advocate for what his district needs. What? Flood control projects. He was so busy being in cahoots with Senator Marcoleta and then Senate President Chiz Escudero — that he forgot to do whatever it takes to make sure that his constituents will not be submerged in water again. Yes! Chiz Escudero in his privilege flaunted bringing Congressman Toby Tiangco in the Blue Ribbon Committee hearing as if it’s an accomplishment. Lols. Congressman Toby Tiangco was too busy asking for the list of projects — not for transparency but for his own personal agenda. That he forgot that he needs projects too or is it safe to say that it is no longer his priority? I hate hypocrisy more than anything — this is what Benjie Magalong and Toby Tiangco have in common. Rumors have it! People say that the congressman from the lone district of Novotas wants to run for Senate in 2028 so he is milking the whole Zaldy Co issue. Why else would he antagonize the new Committee on Appropriations Chair when in fact he was a Vice Chair of Zaldy Co last Congress? Why else would he ask the Department of Foreign Affairs to do something that is illegal? It is all for his personal political aspiration in 2028. So I would caution the news channels for giving him the air time. The whole nation wants to hold Zaldy Co accountable — we don’t need one fame whore to push for it. It’s already a popular opinion. Is the truth too incriminating that the Vice President cannot simply answer questions? Entitlement and arrogance. I do not have high regards for the Vice President but her behavior and attitude during the congressional budget is on a different level. To say that she is disrespectful is an understatement. Rightfully so, Congressman Jay Khonghun moved to defer the budget of the Vice President for refusing to answer questions and disrespecting the committee. I agree with him when he said that we are a republic, we do not have a queen or king — the Vice President cannot do what she wants without checks and balances. I have been watching budget deliberations all my adult life. Both houses of the legislative always ask about the expenditures of the previous years in comparison with their proposed budget for the upcoming year. It is a common practice. Asking that question will give the congress the confidence to grant what is proposed. I want to highlight the interpellations of the Rep. Rodge Gutierrez, he explained in length why asking questions regarding the confidential funds is within the bounds of the discussion. Ironically, it was Congressman Ungab who told him that, the same representation who was in defense of the Vice President earlier today. Rep. Guiterrez also asked the Vice President regarding the COA findings including the lack of documentary evidence as a reason for the disallowance. Please watch the video in full length. PULONG DUTERTE CAUGHT ON CCTV! Violence really runs in the family, huh? I do not know how Rodrigo Roa Duterte raised his children or maybe power and influence really got into their heads. All of them really have this sense of entitlement and if they do not get what they want, they are aggressive and violent. Impeached Vice President Sara Duterte, Mayor Baste Duterte, Kitty and of course the absentee Congressman Pulong Duterte. What is concerning about the CCTV video is the fact that his security act as if this is just a normal thing — they know exactly what to do, asking the people to leave the room. They were all calm as if they had seen worse. There is really a need to cut the power of influence of the Dutertes everywhere. Even in Davao City. They think they own Davao City and Davaoñeos. Resist the abuse and violence, vote the rightful one in the May 2025 elections. In the impeachment complaint, there’s a very strong line which says that “No one is beyond the killing reach of the Vice President”, maybe this is the norm in Davao especially if they do not get what they want. If this is how the Dutertes think, they should be given any sort of power. New Alan Peter Cayetano drama — the creation of Blue Ribbon Sub Committee If there’s one thing I expected of the new Senate President, it is the fact that he will not go down without a fight. He did it back when he was the Speaker of the House with his beloved President Duterte — reports say, he padlocked the plenary forcing the 186 members who wanted him out conduct a session outside Batasang Pambansa. Well, even after the ouster, he was peddling that some of the votes were duplicated. So… what makes us think that he will step down from his post peacefully? Lol Yesterday, he announced the creation of a sub-committee that will just focus on the flood control projects. Like anyone sane would believe on anything Date Marcoleta would come up with. Not only did he receive campaign funds directly from the Mike Defensor — he’s been publicly making statements about flood control anomalies concentrated only on his known enemies. Never about his allies like Chiz Escudero, Joel Villanueva and Jinggoy Estrada who turned out to be the ones with substantial evidence for a case. I think that Alan Peter Cayetano is smart enough that this Blue Ribbon Sub-Committee will not be as credible and as productive as the Lacson-led one but he needs to do it anyway. Why? He needs the distraction! Maybe, the plan is to divert the conversation away from the impeachment trial of the Vice President but I have reasons to believe that he’s doing it to remain in power. The Duterte-bloc should be careful trusting APC. Luckily, as mentioned by the Minority leader — creation of the sub-committee outside the plenary is illegal and against their rules. They need at least 12 votes to create this sub-committee and do what they plan to do. Cases are being filed and investigations are on-going re: the flood control controversies — IMPEACHMENT TRIAL NA PO, MR. SENATE PRESIDENT!

Rep. Rodge Gutierrez 1, Cassandro Ong 0 There is a reason why the House of Representatives is outshining the Senate nowadays, the difference in the quality of legislative inquiries is evident. Listening to both… I think it is because the lower house has an abundance of good solons. The legislative inquiry is soooo good that the livestream of the hearing has thousands of live audience even after fifteen hours of marathon interpellations and ended around 1 in the morning. Alice Guo and Cassandra Ong both faced the Senate and Congress with the same alibi of knowing each other through Wesley Ong who is allegedly the boyfriend of Cassie for four years. The Senate asked Cassandra Ong over and over again but cannot establish anything… Well, it only takes one neophyte congressman/ lawyer to disprove this claim through a good line of questioning. I suggest you watch the whole video. He is right though, how can Cassie Ong not confidently answer very basic information about her boyfriend for four years? I mean. Seriously?! It is not as if “gamgam” (gundam) is something so complicated you’ll forget what it is called. One doesn’t need to be romantic to know your boyfriend’s birthday, right? Lols Why is this important? If you remember, Cassandra Ong was arrested in Indonesia with Shiela Guo and there are airport photos of Alice Guo and Cassandra Ong together. Another solon also established that the POGOs they’re connected to are adjacent and similar to each other. With everything that is presented in the quad comm, I’m inclined to believe that their relationship is never just through Wesley Ong but is professional/ business in nature. If I were any of the informants, I would definitely tell the truth… not in the fear of contempt but the fact that they will always find out eventually.

“If I weren’t president, I might be out on the streets with them” - President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. I am not joining any rally tomorrow — because I know that President Marcos brought this up and as he said it is his interest to find the solution to what has become a very egregious problem. But just like the President, I also understand why people are angry as I am too and they have every right to be out on the street to express their dissent. I came across one very interesting interview of Akbayan yesterday — they were right, the call for Marcos resignation will benefit no one but Sara Duterte. This is why the Duterte supporters have been piggybacking with the issue despite the issue with the 51 billion funding of Paolo Duterte and the continuous flooding in Davao City. Well, if you will be objective about these a lot has happened after the President brought this out in the open. You can find the timeline of the actions of the government regarding this here: It is clear to me and hopefully you who are reading this — that the government is taking all measures possible to get to the bottom of this. Cases were filed, the ICI was established, DPWH employees sacked and a lot of things happening on a daily basis.

Prime Water Clients: Campaign Against the Villars! May this be the first elections where no one from the Villars wins the elections! Let us campaign against Cynthia Villar for Las Piñas representative and Camille Villar for Senator. We have to hand it to Rappler, they are the first to report about the Prime Water problem in relation to the campaign of the senatorial candidate, Camile Villar. I remember they were in the Alyansa event and the reporter asked the locals about their main concern — WATER! And the stories after that are too serious to ignore. Recent reports also said that the Villlar-Duterte friendship is strong, as the Villars’ wealth bloated during the time of the Dutertes (4x growth). I also think that they were shielded by the Dutertes, so despite all the issues…they remained powerful and rich. Lols This is why despite the overwhelming number of consumers surfacing and the videos of poor Prime Water services circulation online, the impeached Vice President still protected Camille Villar saying this is just politically motivated. One thing you should know is the fact that the Villars head one major political party in the Philippines, the Nacionalista Party. But if their own consumers campaign against them? I think this is the real power of the electorate. I do not think that money is enough for their own consumer to forget about their daily struggles and ridiculous water bills. At least according to what is available online, Prime Water took over 100/ 500 water districts in the country and despite the privatization — the services deteriorated. Major vote rich locations like Bulacan (Marilao, Malolos, Meycauayan, San Ildefonso, San Rafael), Cavite, Nueva Ecija, Pangasinan, Tarlac and Pampanga (Angeles, Mabalacat). Then, there’s Metro Cebu, Subic, Cagayan de Oro, Zamboanga and Bicol. President Bongbong Marcos Jr ordered the concerned government agency to investigate this matter; there's a call to investigate this as well in both houses of Congress. Probe Senator Dante Marcoleta You have to admit it! How Senator Panfilo Lacson called him out was satisfying! That is the Marcoleta brand — confusing people with his extreme emotions and nonsense rhetoric. Divert the conversation elsewhere, to save someone or something. It is definitely not okay when he made a deal with the Discayas without the approval of the whole committee when he was the chair. Later on, the affidavit of the Discaya was proven wrong a couple of times. Why are we even talking about the possibility of being a state witness? Well, it is not the first time that Senator Dante Marcoleta tried to defend sketchy personalities and/ or entities — truth be told, there’s a clear pattern. I am not surprised how he would go above, over and beyond for the Discayas because that’s how I’ve known him in the 19th Congress. I think that it is of national interest to probe the Date Marcoleta —- why is he protecting the Discayas? What was his stake with NGCP? And others. A clear pattern: Why focus on ____? This is one of the usual arguments of Marcoleta to shield the sketchy entities and people. He used this argument when the NGCP was on the hot seat for not complying with the tax requirements and the Chinese ownership in our state grip. —- this was also his argument to shield Sara Duterte from legitimate questions regarding the confidential funds of the OVP and Duterte-led DepEd. Flip-flopping opinion about COA To protect Sara Duterte, he defended the process of the Commission on Audit — but during the Senate Blue Ribbon Chair he lambasted the COA for not doing a pre-emptive audit. COA defended itself saying that their mandate is limited only to post-fact. Divert the conversation This is his ultimate tactic — stop or divert the conversation when the things are not looking good for whomever he is protecting. This was very evident when he chaired the Blue Ribbon Committee and was raised by other Senators. He interrupted the conversation when it’s heading towards the Duterte administration. Several times if I may add. This is the very reason why he’s stealing the show — to confuse the public and get the headlines. Not accepting a different answer It is one thing when the Resource Person is lying, that is one contemptible violation — but Dante Marcoleta formula is to pressure the person into what he wants to hear. I sincerely do not understand Senator Hontiveros and those who are tweeting “Tama nga kami”, demanding that the “Uniteam” should still be unified as promised during the campaign. Reiterating that they won because the Filipino people are done with all the bickering and political fights. Of all people! We, those who opposed the Dutertes, should understand the situation of the Marcoses right now! For six long years! Six long years! We saw how the Dutertes get what they want when they want it. What do you want President Marcos to do? Give in! For the sake of “Unity”. Just for the record, the prayer rally in Davao was deliberately scheduled after the “Bagong Pilipinas” rally in the Quirino Grandstand schedule was announced. Apparently… Later on we found out that it was not a prayer rally but a rant-fest of the Dutertes for their baseless attacks against the President. Of all the people! It should be you! Those who supported and still support the former Vice President Robredo should understand the President right now! She was on the receiving end of the attacks for years, di ba? The Dutertes do this when they do not get what they want. I sincerely want to believe that if you look at issues separately, even the minority of both houses and the real opposition agree with the President. If you will see things objectively... the real opposition enjoys the listening ears of this administration. Who would have thought?! The Chairman of the House Committee on Appropriations responded to the video message of the Vice President Sara Duterte last night and I agree that this is nothing but a diversionary tactic. In his speech as attached below, Chairman Zaldy Co pointed out very good points and I highly recommend you watch its entirety. The video message last night was a diversionary tactic to the real issues 1.) the 125 million confidential funds spent in 11 days 2.) Low PISA score 3.) Issues and questions about the DepEd expenditures and a lot more. If there is one thing I want to highlight here, it is probably the part when Chairman Zaldy Co said that Vice President Sara Duterte assured them she can defend/justify the requested confidential funds. And so, let me thank the 19th Congress for disapproving the confidential funds requested by the OVP in 2024. “Pang-apat, paulit-ulit niyang sinasabi, "I will defer to the wisdom of Congress," pero hindi ito totoo. Rodge Gutierrez fact-checked the lame excuses of the Duterte vloggers In just less than three minutes, Gutierrez ended all the lame excuses the Duterte vloggers came up with and you really have to watch it! It is important for us to rally behind good legislators like him because I am sure he will once again be subject to all sorts of social media attacks. Freedom of expression is not absolute, we are accountable for the things we say and do — Gutierrez pointed out one irrefutable argument against the lawyers turned vloggers: If the journalists who are explicitly protected by our freedom of expression and of the press are regulated. What makes the vloggers special? Journalists are bound by the internal ethical standards of the KBP, they are regulated by Congressional franchise. Again! What makes the vloggers special? Why do they have to think they are above the law of the land? It is also funny how Gutierrez pointed out how Atty. Trixie Angeles’ seemed to be counting absences, how many more hearings before the committee cite her in contempt and either be detained or go in hiding like her good friend Atty. Harry Roque. I was laughing hard because she’s like a college student testing up to how many absences until her professor drops her. It doesn’t take the most brilliant minds to know that the Supreme Court petition of the vloggers was just for the sake of media mileage because nothing even happened yet! They were just invited! Even Malou Tiquia who lied about being a DDS/ an avid Duterte supporter was given the due courtesy and was heard by the members of the Tri Comm. A show cause order is simply asking you to explain your excuse for your absence.What is so hard with that? What is abusive with that? To make things worse, this same band of vloggers applauded Duterte when Pia Ranada was being banned from Malacañang for simply just doing her job. The same vloggers defended Duterte’s threat to shut down ABS-CBN which led to its eventual loss of franchise. In 2019, Duterte even went as far as saying that he will not allow the return of ABS CBN even if NTC gives them license to operate nor if the Congress gives them franchise. THE SAME VLOGGERS SUPPORTED THIS! Ugh! The audacity to even cite freedom of expression and freedom of the press! Whatever to save themselves, huh?

God save the Philippines from one Sara Zimmerman Duterte I saw this video on Instagram and although I rarely share videos like this, I sincerely think it sums up everything that is wrong with the Sara Duterte Holy Week message. I dare say that she is indeed worse than her father! At least Rodrigo Roa Duterte did not try to package himself as a God-loving person, while Sara Duterte with some obviously fake facial expressions and calm tone of voice just recorded a video. Saying words that obviously do not reflect her values! I do not know about the flock of Quiboloy or the Iglesia ni Cristo, but the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church value accountability and honesty. Our teaching does not condone killing one person, more so if thousands. It doesn’t celebrate the death of even the most sinful of men, not drug addicts and especially their so-called “collateral damages”.
