the thing that prompted me to tweet this was the fact that i was watching the cody rhodes promo leading into wargames which came right after melos match with bronson and i remembered the reactions he was getting. he legitimately got himself over on his own despite shit booking, tried to get 6-7 over as a catchphrase to fit WWEs new formula, he made the most of his US title reign and had one of the best US title reigns in years. he was rewarded with dropping the US title before mania, left off the mania card, left off the summerslam card, lost clean to a 41 year old midcarder, and a rapper wrestling on a tv programming while he is left off shows on top of seeing people he tore the house down with leaving the company and getting better opportunities elsewhere.
