One of the biggest problems with party games in UEFN is the first lobby. If the game needs 2, 4 or 16 players to actually be fun, one player joins, waits, leaves… and the loop keeps killing the server. So a while ago I started studying an AI bot system that could fill the lobby, play the game, and get replaced as real players joined. This is an old knockback test where I’m alone, but the match still feels populated. Especially with the current Discover, solving the “empty lobby problem” feels more important than ever lol #UEFN #FortniteCreative

Day 3 learning s&box, coming from years of #UEFN. Today it’s not just a preview anymore: the inventory can now equip and unequip clothing, update the 3D preview in real time, and apply the outfit to the actual player character in-game. This kind of freedom is exactly why I wanted to dive into s&box. Still rough. Still early. But now it’s starting to feel like a real system. #sbox #GameDev

Love it or hate it, A.I is already part of how things are being made and maybe I’ll catch some heat for saying that. Even so, I decided to build a platform for UEFN. I Finished a key part of the custom character system, Optimized calculations to reduce jitter, making gameplay smoother. Features a custom state machine, full animation states, and improved collision handling. Added lag compensation for server TPS. #UEFN #FortniteCreative

Day 5 learning s&box, coming from years of #UEFN. A lot of people told me to test multiplayer/replication early, so today I did. The inventory is now multiplayer: players can drop items, equip/unequip gear, loot chests, and see everything sync in real time. I also added death/respawn: bodies stay in the world with ragdoll, other players can loot them, then the player respawns. Honestly, s&box replication has been one of the easiest systems to understand so far. The devs did a great job. #sbox #GameDev
