I’m assuming most New Orleans Saints fans are happy right now. Payton is beloved here in New Orleans. But the way he exited NOLA left a sour taste in many fans mouths. Wrong assumption on my part or right on the money? Similar to Saban with LSU Football fans. Don’t know many who were rooting for Alabama.

Trey Yuen in Mandeville isn’t Chinese food, it’s Chinese Cuisine! And one of the Metro New Orleans area’s best seafood restaurants. The Wong Brothers love the local seafood bounty. Worth the trip from the Southshore every time. The Jade Garden appetizer is so good. (Trey Yuen in English is Jade Garden). And Trey Yuen’s signature Tong Cho sauce. Yummy.

What a joke. The New Orleans Sewerage and water Board is beyond incompetent. In the 1400 block of Kildeer Street, between St Bernard Avenue and Paris Avenue in the Lake Terrace neighborhood, the S&WB came out to this house, dug a hole in the front yard, and discovered a broken pipe. Instead of fixing the pipe, they let it spew water for two weeks, eroding this person’s front yard. The erosion was so bad that a 70+ year-old oak tree fell over in the yard. The pine tree is vulnerable to collapse as well. Now a private contractor is out here trying to fix the situation. Councilman, Eugene Green, who represents this area, sent out one of his people who said “the Sewerage and water Board dropped the ball”. I’d say so. Unacceptable. When will the S&WB get its s#%^ together?!?

In the last 20 years, New Orleans has lost 1/3 of its tree canopy. We’re down to 18% citywide. That’s unacceptable. Atlanta Georgia has a 47% tree canopy. Oak trees not only keep things cooler in the summer months, they are incredible flood mitigators, absorbing hundreds of gallons of water each. We need to plant oak trees all over the city all the time.

My God! Scam artist, pretending to be a preacher, Jesse Duplantis, should be ashamed of himself. He literally lives in a 35,000 square-foot house. Is there a bigger home in the state of Louisiana? If this guy was some entrepreneur, so be it. Instead, he’s taking advantage of people in his community claiming to be a man of God. I don’t know how God would look upon a 35,000 square-foot house. That’s literally the size of a 100 room hotel. Sinful behavior.

Attention City Of New Orleans! Prytania, about 100 yards before downtown side of Napoleon. An absolutely dangerous pothole/sinkhole that could rip off the front spoiler, and/or blow out your front tires and bend the rims, of one’s vehicle. Unacceptable. Fix this now. Could kill a motorcyclist. Especially at night. Can’t see it! Hit this at speed, 35mph, airbags could go off. Bad in both directions! At least have blinking light caution cone. But ideally fix yesterday

Hey Metro New Orleans drivers, I know this is hard for many of you to believe but the left lane on the interstate is for passing only. It’s illegal to drive in the left lane. And it doesn’t matter if you’re doing the speed limit or not. If someone is coming up your rear end and is going faster than you, you’re breaking the law by holding them back and driving slower in the left lane. Stay out of the left lane unless you’re passing aggressively! It’s the law

The Orleans Parish side of the 17th street canal continues to have an inferior flood wall/levee compared the Jefferson Parish side. It was inferior over 20 years ago when Katrina hit causing Lakeview to flood while Bucktown remained entirely dry. The lesser quality still exist today on the Orleans parish side. Why? Unacceptable. I’m guessing this is federal $$$ too. No excuses

I love the city of New Orleans. That’s why I live here. But this city is ruthless. A city that literally can’t pick up the garbage but is proactively ticketing, booting, and towing cars in and around Oak Street Po-Boy Festival on #OakStreet. Can’t handle the basica but is aggressively doing this. Just wrong

You have to be impressed with the City Of New Orleans, the new City Of New Orleans! Helena Moreno and essentially her infrastructure chief Steve Nelson. They are attacking the street problems I’ve been posting. The latest, Carrollton Avenue right past the I-10 entrance. This problem has been there for years. They are fixing it right. Not some patch, but doing it properly. A permanent fix. Go NOLA go. I posted my video last Wednesday. As I predicted, less than a week later, getting it done.
