So in the new Golden Axe animated series the thief gnomes are actually gay perverts who enjoy getting beaten up. They just walk around the campfire carrying their bags of magic potions until the party members beat the shit out of them. This is Thundercats Roar levels of disrespect. SEGA needs to pay attention to this. The people behind this animated series are damaging the legacy of one of the most influential and important IPs in their history.

I still wonder why Square decided to abandon this. Resident Evil could have a real competitor in the genre today.

Okay, I started playing Halo: Campaign Evolved today. I played the prequel missions and played The Pillar of Autumn. I will talk about the prequel campaigns later, but here I want to show you guys a video of a test I did today with my friend who was playing with me. We tried to kill female NPCs on the bridge... The female NPC died only once and in a completely random way. Every other male NPC we tested could be killed with a simple shot, even Keyes can be killed easily. But the NPCs we could never kill were always female ones. It is all in the video, I did not edit anything so no one can accuse me of tampering with it. Well, this is not something that changes gameplay at all, nor the story, that is true. But... it shows the developers' intentions in this remake, and it is good that it gets exposed. That is it, I will keep playing and testing things in the game

They’ve introduced a cheery, Reddit-flavored sidekick who won’t stop talking right in the middle of a game that once thrived on silence, tension, and quiet discovery. He’s supposedly meant to ease players through the opening hours, but the true impact won’t be clear until release day. And the situation gets worse: you’re tasked with rescuing five characters, and he’s one of them, which raises the terrifying possibility that he’ll be glued to your side, shattering the mood at every turn. Combine that with the new open-world direction and Nintendo bringing in former Sony developers, and the whole thing feels like a dramatic push toward “modernizing” the game, at the cost of its soul.

I don’t know about you guys, but this kind of thing is a huge turn-off for me when it comes to buying a game. It reminds me way too much of some of my ex-girlfriends, and sometimes even my mom yelling at me for no reason. It’s just cringe and honestly annoying as hell. It also completely kills the immersion. I mean, this is a military shooter we’re talking about. Am I the only one who feels this way?

Now they’re putting real life influencers into games. So cringe I don’t even have words for it.

Every single Sony Western-developed game is a generic Uncharted clone now
