He has bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. The lawyer said he had 2 honorable discharges from probation. That he can do probation, that he can be successful when supervised. Judge said, “ it’s time to give him a taste of something else.” This could have ended differently. Proper help.. she threatened a mental patient. Not taking sides. I’m simply noting the system is broken. It’s broken for the judge and a huge part of our incarcerated humans.
