There is no traffic level study on roads. DLF continues to build, administration continues to look the other way. Why is permission being given to build a mall next to Ambience Mall. The road is already packed. A new DLF office building behind the Oberoi building. How many cars will it add, at least 2,000 a day ? How will the traffic move ? What about ambulances between 5 to 7 pm even on a normal day. This is the cost of corruption. Stay stuck in traffic jams. New construction needs to be banned in Gurgaon especially for malls ? Do we really need the biggest mall of India next to Ambience mall ? Do we need more shops or better traffic. The situation will only get worse. India has never seen more corruption ever. It’s the rain today, tomorrow it will be everyday traffic. Don’t believe me, try crossing the Gurgaon toll at 6 pm.

What was the feeling on winning the Olympic Gold Abhinav A. Bindra OLY ? I have always admired him like all Indians. I was in Goa for hotel site visits and staying at The Postcard Saligao and guess who do I meet enjoying his stay at the hotel - the legendary Abhinav Bindra. My first meeting with him and we had dinner together impromptu. He is so thoughtful, intense and yet humble. I got a masterclass on life just speaking with him. Headline: Breakfast in India is unique to every region and when it’s anytime at The Postcard Hotel - it’s even more fun! At The Postcard in the Durrung Tea Estate, I decided to take on what they call the “ King of Chillies” - Bhut Jolakia, even the Assamese will tell you to be careful while having it, as it is too hot! actually amongst the hottest chilies in the world. So when in Assam, I woke up a bit late, had a coffee, went for a walk of over an hour in 1400 acres of tea gardens, imagine it’s like a whole city of tea gardens and trees and nothing else for miles and miles . Finally at 12.20 pm when I was ready for breakfast, I ordered the Planter’s Bungalow Omlette with Mann Dhaniya ( the local fragrant coriander from Assam) cherry tomatoes and “ Bhut Jolakia” with some freshly baked Ragi bread. It was pure magic, the hit of the Bhut Jolakia on the tongue stays for an hour at least and it’s amazing. When at The Postcard Hotel ask for it and not your usual omlette. From the Ros Omlette in Goa to the Planter’s Bungalow Omlette with Mann Dhaniya and Bhut Jolakia omelette in Assam, we are changing the way you have breakfast at the hotel. I am in Goa today at The Postcard Cuelim in South Goa. Busy morning, went for a swim and then at 12.20 pm decided to have the anytime breakfast, cooked fresh always, food from the region - Patal Bhaji with Mirchi Pakoda and Katra Pao.
