Two days ago, on my mom’s third birthday in Heaven, I should’ve been at her grave putting flowers down and remembering good times. Instead, I was at the Rhode Island State House fighting against out-of-touch politicians who want to disarm women like me. When a 200-pound piece of sh*t kicks in my door at 2AM, the cops are minutes away… but the intruder already there. A gun is the only thing that can protect me. My mother raised a fighter, not a victim. She didn’t teach me to surrender my rights to legislators who sit in a building surrounded by armed guards. Over 262 million people were murdered by their governments in the 20th century... The 2A wasn’t designed for hunting, or hobby. It was designed so we can protect ourselves at all costs, whether that be against an intruder, or against a tyrannical government. These bills don’t protect women... They make us easier targets. My life matters... Put it first.

Iryna Zarutska was brutally stabbed to death by a repeat offender. Her mural now faces destruction on the wall of The Dark Lady in downtown Providence. Mayor Brett Smiley is demanding it be torn down, calling it “divisive.” If this had happened to me, a lifelong Rhode Islander born and raised right here, would they rip my mural down too, just because I’m not a Democrat? For years Rhode Island has been pushing to disarm women and endanger their lives, but the same type of career criminal that killed Iryna isn't going to stop hurting people just because of a law. If society isn't going to protect us, women need to be able to protect ourselves. This isn’t remembrance... It’s erasure. Protect women. Remember Iryna. Don’t let them erase her memory.

Last night I fiercely opposed the "Assault Weapons Ban" in Rhode Island ❌️ I unmasked 5 of the committee members voting on the bill potentially violating 🚨RI Ethics Law 36-14-5🚨 by presenting conflicts of interest! When I mentioned how Representative Jason Knight openly brags about getting his clients' gun charges dismissed on his law website, his knight in shining armor Representative Justine Caldwell freaked out, leading to me getting kicked me out of the hearing.
